2:39 Grate for a fireplace I think your engine is the top half of a boat motor about 50 hp missing the drive half. Your Cannon piece is a barrel valve 13:10 is an input shaft from a truck transmission 19:16 foot for a Franklin stove or an old bath tub 23:03 Roller from a Wringer washer not a wash board

I was trying to check spark plugs and cylinders but couldn’t get a good look. In a past life I delivered auto parts and carried quite a few blocks to the machine shop and I know how heavy even the 4 cylinder ones are. I did watch a guy put a V8 block in the back of my truck but he had arms like Hulk Hogan. They used a crane to take it out of my truck and it was a bare block. I just couldn’t get the orientation of the motor with it being turned like that but I knew it wasn’t for anything very big.

a bit of detail for ya - 'hay' pitchforks have 4, 5, maybe 6 round (cross-sectional) tines. If they have many round tines (say 8 or more), that's for cleaning horse stalls. The one in this video, with 'flattened' tines, is for use in gardens, like digging potatoes, or for worms. I.e., for moving dirt. Hope ya are keeping warm.

I’m 70 years old & January 2nd & 3rd, 2024, I had to replace my car battery & I already broke my right hip, femor, tibia & ankle in a car wreck in 1990, so lifting that heavy ass battery put my ass on a heating pad for days. Take care of yourself out there!!!

Wow. This just reminds me of how strong you probably are. It's easy to watch you pull stuff out of the river and sometimes I forget just how heavy some of the stuff must be. Like I would probably never be able to pull some of that up and into the boat. I do hope your back is alright though.

At 2:39 fireplace grate also called andirons. Your flintlock cannon looks like pour spot for a 55 gallon drum. You would screw it into the bung hole and lay drum on its side in a rack. That one is for thicker material. Your pitchfork is actually a spading fork for digging up gardens and flower beds. And your old wood stove leg. Don't throw your back out, we like you unhurt and keeping us entertained

02:47 a log rack you put at the bottom of the fireplace. 03:25 a flange. 09:35 looks like a lip of an old milk bottle. 19:18 leg off of a wood stove. 25:07 a 4 cylinder boat motor? well maybe inboard.

The metal legs you have been finding are most likely from the old iron heating stoves we heated our homes with. They could burn wood or coal. I don't remember ever seeing any coffee tables made with iron feet. A lot of people were still using those stoves in the 60's and maybe later, especially in rural areas. They put out a lot of heat.

Just a musing - railroad spikes were sometimes driven into 'telephone poles', as steps for the linemen to climb up. So that could be the source of ones that are not near railroads.

Those rollers are the wringers on old wash machines. There were two mounted on the top of the washing machine together. You’d take the clothes out of the machine after washing and then run them the through the wringer. The rollers were really close together and would pinch the clothes squeezing out the water. Had to be careful not to get your fingers pinched in between them.

The cast iron legs go to a claw foot tub, not a table. The feet come off, maybe so they didn’t break off in moving them, into the bathroom. I just had to take one out to install a lower tub. Hated to take it out but had to. It’s living in my shed now. Can’t part with it.

Those cast iron legs you find could be off an old wood burning stove. They are very old some was very decorated with chrome and some design on them. My brother had one it was very old and it was just for heating no cooking cause the top was peaked. It was very pretty for a stove. With all the chrome on it. And fancy designs. The legs on his had designs on it too. Maybe the ones you are finding has designs on them when cleaned up they may be worth some money. If someone needs one to restore a old stove.

Great video man, I love seeing you haul stuff out of the water. Every time I'm like, 'whoa what is this?', right there with you. Love it! 👍😊

At 15:49 you are calling it a pitch fork. It is a dirt fork that is why the prongs are wider, people would use it to dig for potatoes. A pitch fork prongs are narrow making it easy to use on hay.
