I'm a South African and we usually get all of the UKs new treats a few months later; however, I was surprised to see that the double down is new to you guys. We had it a year or two back and it was one of my favs!! Ours came with cheese and mayo instead of the bbq sauce. Absolutely delish!!

I worked at McDonald’s when I was 16-18 then again 19-20 and they have done wedges and Criss cut fries but always wasn’t too popular so they just stopped I loved the criss cut fries tho they were sooo good

We’ve had the double downs in New Zealand for yeeeeeeeears, it’s supposed to be limited edition but they bring them back like twice a year because they always sell out, they’ve got like ones with hash browns in the middle and all these crazy combos, to be fair, ours aren’t as crispy or as breaded as the new UK ones so I’m kinda jealous! Personally not a fan as our ones are always greasy busy feel like I’d love this version

Was in Poland a few years ago too and oh my, the McDonald's there was so good, so many potato options 😍 In Ireland we have twisty fries but they're not quite the same as a wedge! Team thick chips 😂🍟
