@@connorellisx oh okay because on my L83 I did the L86 swap manifold and Tb , headers e85 and intake is tuned for that. but I ordered the LT5 and going to port the manifold
@@Jose-ew6hj new tune never hurts, I’m sure cause you already have the first tune out of the way a retune is pretty cheap. With the addition of the ported manifold I’d say that I’d retune to get the best results for sure
Those were anzo headlights, I wasn’t a huge fan, as they started getting super foggy really quickly. And my truck is a 2015 but same thing as the 2014 as far as headlights and grille
How did it preform I see your 5.3 is cammed. My 5.3 is still stock with a lot of Bolt-ons how you think my truck would respond. I also have the l86 kat-a7250 ported throttle body on now.
Personally if you already have the l86 throttle body I don’t think you would notice even a slight difference. You really start getting to a point where the motor isn’t necessarily asking for more air than it’s getting already until you start going inside and changing things like the heads and cam etc

I thought about but it’s tough cause my sensor was going out before, making my opinion screwed towards the positive just simply because it’s working right. I’d say the peddle is a lot more touchy now on take off, so a lot more throttle response that before… But again my l86 one was lagging a lot due to the sensor
Love that V8 Sound....
Wicked ass Sierra Pre Runner truck bro 👌💯 She looks & Sounds Bad A$$
Is that the tapered 95mm to 87mm kateck adapter or the straight through one?
This one is tapered because the intake manifold isn’t ported to 95mm, this I felt was a temporary solution til I get an aftermarket intake manifold
@connorellisx thank you bud, I assume the was nice and flush as well on the inside after bolting the adapter?
@@Jeff-ti4pd yep!
Did you need to retune ?
I did not, but going from the 87-95 isn’t a massive jump, I would say if you were going from the 79-95mm you may want to

This fits the 5.3L ? How do you get around the shipping? I have been getting my stuff sent to a friend out of state. 😂.
That’s pretty much your best option, I have friends that ship to one state and then pay shipping twice pretty much😂
What headlights are those? They look great! Also, is your truck a 2014?

Awesome thank you so much.
start posting more vids. Love the truck by the way its beautiful!
Thank you! I’d like to I just haven’t had a lot of content on the truck progress aside from grabbing parts!
rowdy
why didnt you port throttlebody?
I personally believe it’s a lot of money for negligible gains. I would rather buy an entire manifold if I were to go that far
Not worth porting a throttle body. Hardly any difference
Rearend for the truck in the back round ?
Yes sir it is!
What you end up running for gears with those size tires just curious awesome truck by the way man
