Watching on the Telly people just don’t appreciate just how much the wind affected the game against Dundee Utd. Engels stats are good, just let the boy settle in, we’ve got a player. We wore Motherwell down, and got the result we deserved
You are right Hamish about how Hatate makes an impact later on in matches as it opens up. He struggles when teams are able to get close to him, but as opposing players get tired later in games he can make a difference. Kuhn is a special player. I agree with Stevie, start the Sunday game with the best available 11, then utilise the bench once the game is under control.
Cant believe all the sports media and Rangers fans thought the title race would be back on cause we drew one game. Did they not look at the fixture list and see all the away games they've got? They're away to hibs after us and i quite fancy hibs to take points of them with how they're playing.
Avoid defeat against them next day and that's the league done ( it's pretty much done as is). 2 North of Ireland tims sinking the buns last night. Arne still needs time we will see the best of him,he needs support and backing from the fans.
Always reckoned the 4 at home 1 away would finally put the league to bed especially as the “challengers” had 4 away & 1 at home against us. The “deflection” from Govan this week has been hilarious though😀
The league is over regardless of the outcome on Jan 2nd. The Huns have played 8 away league games so far and have 10pts to show for it. That’s basically mid table sort of stuff. The league cup final showed that over 90 minutes, they can disrupt us and give us a game and on Jan 2nd they could do something similar BUT over 38 games in the league, they have proven time and again that they just aren’t capable of going on an extended winning streak vs all the other teams. Celtic regularly go on winning runs in the league of 5 or more games Rangers best run in the league so far was 4 wins on the spin vs St Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Ross County & Dundee (arguably the four worst teams in the league) and two of them were at home. Their best away run is two wins in a row which also came in that 4 game streak.
If that had been Yang’s debut folk would be saying things like “the new guy looked lively” etc…. But he’s now had a few games like that. Plenty effort but not much end product sadly. He wasn’t horrendous but he wasn’t very good either.
More games for squad players makes squad players better. So get off their backs. It probably affects the whole squad when one of their group is criticized overly. Keep the players on side fans. Just as vice versa.
Really glad we put in a good shift in the second half V Motherwell. I accept teams will blow hot and cold over the course of the season, but our loss of form was a little worrying. Onwards and upwards!!
@18:28 Spot on, Stevie. I though there would be at least 10 mins added at the end of the first half - we got 4! Someone somewhere will have better stats than me, but I reckoned the ball was in play for about 26 of the 49 mins.
We arguably finished the game with a stronger XI than the one that started. I think the 2nd half was better because of that and because Motherwell started to tire and allow us more space. The first half was torture to watch due to all 20 outfield players being crammed in to one-third of the pitch for almost the entire half. In that situation there’s no option but to stay patient and move the ball around and tire out the opposition. It’s extremely tedious to watch but if that’s how Motherwell want to set up, then that’s what we have to do and we got our payoff later in the match. Motherwell were set up to frustrate us, so it was important for us not to get frustrated and just keep probing away, making their midfielders do a lot of donkey work.
The alcohol induced daft decision to make a late night into just staying up and going to bed early caught up with me just before kickoff. I will watch the game later. I hope you all have fun and a have a great Hogmanay. Onward and upwards! HH
I must've been watching a different game because I thought Maeda CalMac and CCV were more worthy of motm than Engels, I'm not saying Arne was poor but he was nowhere the pick of the bunch. Reo looked good coming off the bench yesterday and his goal was a peach. The main thing though is that the gap widened as the Ibrox club shat the bed again, Keith Jackson said the title race was back as we dropped two points at Tannadice well that aged well and now he's backtracked and said it's all over as a contest. We'll beat them at Ibrox next Sunday or at the very least we'll get a point but I think we'll batter them. Another good video guys although I disagreed on a couple of things but keep up the good work Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year and God bless HH
Great to get the win But again up until we scored can’t wait to get in few more Players in the transfer window As Celtics last month With injuries and illness And some players not performing brought us back to the pack Midfield & strikers Have been way off. But more cover And pressure for spots Will get the boys Back to being more Consistant Lets get a result On Sunday and be a great end to the new year .
He’s a good player gives us a different option to Kyogo, haven’t heard criticism but I know he doesn’t deserve it. He has our highest goal to minute ratio this season
@@ErinJack299 Lol he is no better than OH. If he wasnt Irish fans wouldnt care about him. Can do a job as an impact sub but we need to look for a better option to lead the line if Kyogo goes.
Wow, what insight from Stevie here, doesn’t feel like the guys in the middle of the park were not as involved creatively as the wingers when Motherwell were compact and sitting in. Genius 😂

All over Europe people are asking why Jack Butland wasn’t sent off
All over the World…My phone is full with people asking 😃
2nd half was very entertaining. Real change in pace and forward momentum. Delighted for Reo. Hope he hits a bit of form now.

Ralston was fantastic yet again. Idah held the ball up very well. Glad Engels played well. He deserves some good fortune
Avoid defeat against them next day and that's the league done ( it's pretty much done as is). 2 North of Ireland tims sinking the buns last night. Arne still needs time we will see the best of him,he needs support and backing from the fans.
Kuhn looked sharp.🍀

Nice and tidy game, overall. Also thought Yang acquitted himself well.
Wasn't getting a good report card on the radio
What game were you watching

Couldn’t agree more man,and big Arne should get the credit when he deserves it,,HH🍀🏆🍀

A well taken penalty, three great goals and St Mirren got a home victory. What a wonderful start to the festive season.
Engels is the only Celtic player that can actually deliver an effective corner.
Kasper for the next 10 years. 🏴🍀💚

Merry Christmas everyone. 🍀🍀🍀
Class view Hamish
I’m Not worried about that stevie!
Scales more G & A,s than most midfielders 😊
McCowan the one midfielder that can pick a forward pass or a dangerous give a go that opens up these teams.
Love the background

Ralston and Engles performed very well for me.☘️

Yang is not yet at the level required. Need to strengthen both wings in January
Great to get the win

On Sunday and be a great end to the new year .
Clement must stay. 😂😂
Engels is a bit like Joe Ledley he goes unnoticed but plays well and can change the game HH
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can you please come home Hamish ❤
Is Hamish looking into the sun or just at the wind up for us freezing here in Scotland
He's in Australia
Agree troops merry Xmas and happy 2nd agree that we are in a great place and another team are not HH
Sinisalo needs game time .
So the sevco “are back” aye back to being pish !!!! And give big Arne the credit when he deserves it,,in any case a good Boxing Day 😂🍀🫶🍀
Is the Idah criticism justified, he puts in a shift
I can put in a shift, does that mean im good enough.
He’s a good player gives us a different option to Kyogo, haven’t heard criticism but I know he doesn’t deserve it. He has our highest goal to minute ratio this season
I'm on the fence with him. But he does work hard and plays more of a pivot forward.

@@willielarsson9651 revisionism with that Oh shout, he was terrible, had a bit of potential but Idah is so many levels above
Yeah Rio ff the becch for sure
