Gracias, voy para España por 2 semanas en julio ya que estoy completamente vacunado . En la Comunidad de Madrid conoces algún punto donde no haya mucha contaminación lumínica?
I got a question, do you think your Photopills app is better than the TPE app? 😅 Also I'm hoping for clear skies on the 10th June in the UK to photograph the partial solar eclipse 🤞
Rafael: I really want to know if this tutorial is just an example or you're joking with us? I have been travelling up and down for the last few days visiting a lot of locations in New York and haven't found a clear horizon being also a safe place to shoot the Annular Solar Eclipse yet. Facing North East of New York is either not accessible on foot or restricted. Otherwise blocked by trees. By the time the Sun picks its head shadowed by the New Moon we are almost witnessing the maximum partial eclipse only a few degrees above the horizon. Reaching the Empire State building is hours after the eclipse is over. So you must have meant to give us just an example of the normal Sun next to the building.
Well... According to the plan. If you stand at the Red Pin position at the planned time, you'll be able to photograph the partial eclipse with the Empire State building. In the video you can also see the eclipse phase you can get at that time :)
@@PhotoPills Thanks but your Red Pin is in New Jersey not New York. Not everyone could travel there. Also you said go East for better view but you went further West.
@@Mr.HarryPotter almost every shot of the moon or sun over the Manhattan skyline is from NJ or Queens/Brooklyn. Scope out this location in NJ. It’s only a 20 minute train ride from 34th st and see if you feel comfortable going early. Best of luck shooting the partial eclipse. Looks like clouds may be appearing.

Great video as always about an incredible app! Does the "sun height" value in the app refer to the height of the center of the sun? Thanks!
