Leo rising and this is 1000% me, I'm very solar person as well! I see my Sun sign the most when I think how I should act or what I should do, or what I would like to have as personality traits.

Well, the answer for this question is because you're following your Tropical rising sign and not the Sidereal ascendant sign. I suggest to first check your Sidereal ascendant sign. I'm a Leo rising according to Tropical and I too didn't relate, so I checked my Sidereal ascendant and according to Sidereal my ascendant is Cancer which I relate more too. So please check it out 😀

Hi! I’m a Gemini rising too! When I found out about our ascendant and mine is Gemini, it explained a lot! Life changer lol, because I’m a Leo sun Pisces moon.
Thank you for sharing, Marisa! This is something I wondered about for a while after getting started in astrology. I’m a Leo rising but I’m so quiet, inhibited, tend towards being serious and sacrificial and can feel blocked in my creativity (though I’m working on that! 😄) There’s so much in a person’s chart that can cause that disconnect! I have my sun in the 8th house in Pisces, have Saturn trining my ascendant from my 5th house, and apparently my chart is strongly influenced by Scorpio/Pluto. I know Leo’s there, though, because, underneath it all, when someone else is struggling and needs lifting, I can embody that sunny energy, affirming them, cheering them on, and all. Sometimes I can even be that for myself. 😮

Capricorn🌞Virgo rising (tropical)...since I learned about what a Virgo is since I began this journey 2 weeks ago....i am shocked at how much I relate and basically have been emboding the analytical side of Virgo. Loving this new road im on.

The video and explanations were really informative, but I think the main thing you forgot to mention was the triplicity of the Zodiac. How each sign is split into a 30 degree division with 10 degrees ruled by a particular mix of signs and planets. This causes the most diversity and individualistic traits.
The triplicity of signs occurs all throughout the birth chart. That why no two people with the same signs or similar set ups are exactly the same.
My Scorpio rising is ruled by my dominant planet Pluto. Which is my chart ruler, but it's also in the 3rd decan where Cancer and the Moon influence that energy. Also, my chart ruler is located in the 12th house. Giving it a Piscean coloring. Even my Sun in Cancer is in the 3rd decan of pisces. With Neptune kinda drowning my Sun. Causing me to be more prone to imagination, art, poetry and epic literature.
Yet my Moon in Gemini is in the 3rd decan combining Aquarius and Uranus. So, I can be simultaneously emotional, caring and reserved yet chatty and dispassionate. I'm open yet not and will be glib about shit.
This alone shines a light on so many contradictory traits and one note stereotypes.
Whereas this is definitely a valid and very insightful addition, I try to keep the information easily digestible by shining a light on the largest pieces of information. It's easy to get lost in the neverending vortex of astrology by diving into every finite detail. But thank you for sharing as someone in the comments may find this helpful 🙂

@@Jennie-yolan after trying to figure it out for a few days, I actually realized that I’m a Cancer rising! My birth certificate says I was born at 10:20 pm and at 10:22 pm the rising sign changes to a cancer rising. My mom told me that the hospital I was born at in Peru just estimated the time and that she remembers it being closer to 10:30. I actually do relate and identify with my Cancer rising so much!

I’ve never heard about the importance of mercury. My mercury is in pieces and in 8 house. Leo rising. Now it makes sense.

My mom gave me an estimated birth time. So I’m known to be a Pisces rising 19 degrees based off that. However, due to physical features I have both the dreamy eyes of Pisces and big forehead of Aries lol.. I will admit I resonate more with Pisces, not so much the super talented artistic side of Pisces though.

Well actually I feel relate to my rising sign(Taurus ) + moon sign which is (Taurus )to more than my sun sign ( aquarius ) , even people that I meet always asking me if I’m Taurus or expecting me to be Taurus . Did I mention that my signature sign is taurus again! .

I absolutely love Astrology, but there are some things that I don't understand. One of them being is that some Astrologers will take the planets and the zodiac signs, and based on the date of your birth they say something about a generation, and I heard it and I really didn't understand of what they meant. By the way I love your videos!!
Hmmm from what you explained here, it sounds like they might be referring to the Outer Planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto). These planets orbit through each sign VERY slowly, often taking years to move from sign to sign (unlike the sun, which changes approximately every month, hence our sun signs). So this means there are generations of people born with these planets in the same sign.

I’m a Pisces Sun, Aries Rising, Sagittarius Moon and Capricorn Venus. I really don’t relate to my rising or moon sign. Actually, I only relate to them by having anger issues and being irritable 🥴. I am at the Aquarius/Pisces cusp though 🙃

The incorrect timing is such a pain they told me I was born early morning and then said I was born at 12 pm and the another relative Said I it was 9-10. I literally switch up between signs based on what I resonate with most

I was born between Capricorn and Aquarius rising I find I fall within both. But if I look at other types of personality testings or numerology or anything like that it leans more towards Capricorn.
My parents just remember me being born between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. not the exact time. And if it's closer to 3:00 it's Capricorn if it's closer to 4:00 aquarius so that's where it's hard.
I completely understand, that's tough! Do you feel like you naturally resonate with one more than the other?
@@MarisaLaBlue this is where it gets very tricky because I have a lot of trauma so are my underlying traumas the cause or why I feel a line with wanting security under the Capricorn or am I just meant to be that way.
I am also Aries sun and sag Moon. And I'm very independent and just want to do stuff my own way on my own, not answering to anybody, much likely Aquarius rising.

I used to always think I was born at 7:27pm, which made me a sag rising and I was like okay yeah I get this... then find out I was born at 6:56 which turned me into a scorpio rising and that's when I was like "woah woah woah this don't make sense anymore"
okay wait my rising is Scorpio at 27 degrees, ruled by pluto and mars and both planets are found in Saggitarius in my first house so now it makes so much more sense thank you!!!
My rising is aries which im pretty sure is rare but i feel more connected to the taurus rising and my charts i have tried have said my rising is aries and yes the chart is correct but idk why i relate alot towards taurus than my rising sign. I rlly need some help here😭
