Thank you again Angela!!🥰 You were such a great host and so happy to be a part of this awesome hop. So much inspiration to be had in this wonderful community of crafters. ❤
So glad you are getting your rolls ready to go Tammy! 🤗I think you are going to have fun making the tags and envelopes and would be great to tuck into your new Little Golden Book journal too. Thank you again my friend and happy crafting!❤️
Hi Julie, I love this idea. Even more intriguing & charming is using a sad iron as a weight in the studio. Now I have yet another item to search for----where oh where did I put my sad iron?? I'll start saving paper towel & toilet paper rolls so I can replicate theses ideas. Kudos, Hazel
I hope you have fun with the project Hazel! It’s about the most perfect thing I can think of, to use those old irons for.😅It’s actually a permanent fixture on my craft desk and I use it all the time. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Happy crafting. ❤ P.S. I hope you find your iron. 😄
@@DayTripVintageCo Julie, it would be perfect because it's so heavy compared to the size of its 'footprint'. Most of us don't have any space to spare for our essentials. Still haven't found it : ( H
Ooh now I really want to watch your last video too! Thanks for mentioning… These tags and pocket are so fun. I have that book and it’s a favorite of mine for fussy cutting too!
Thank you so much for watching and glad you enjoyed the project! I think the Readers Digest book is definitely right up there as a favorite and the fussy cut opportunities can’t be beat. ❤️
So happy you loved them and thank you so much for watching and commenting. 💓 They are fun to make and you can take this project in so many directions. 🤗
Julie, thank you so much for tagging me! This is a great project to use items we all have! The iron is brilliant and I wondered how you were going to make the notch…so smart! I can see this envelope/tag idea can be used in many different ways. I’m definitely going to be trying it. #giveascrap
Looking forward to seeing your project LeAnne! Yes, the themes can be endless with this little duo. I was thinking they would be great additions to Little Golden Book junk journals too. 📚😁 Thank you my friend! Happy crafting and be prepared for the little piles of tp rolls that will start to crop up around you. ❤
Great idea for those rolls we all have! I have two copies of that book and love it. I’ve only used them for fussy cutting, but I’m going to try your idea using a page.😊
So happy you liked the project! Yes, we all have an abundance and it’s actually a fun material to work with. I’m hoarding 2 copies as well and typically just fussy cut the images sparingly but thought the visual of the larger pieces was so gorgeous. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!❤️
I love your pockets! I will try my hand at them (have the perfect book to pick pages from), and using the bonefolder is a great tip. Thank you for sharing! #giveascrap
So happy you enjoyed the project and even better that you have some great book pages at the ready! Yes, the bone folder is the extra step that really makes them nice and flat. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Have fun crafting.❤
Toilet paper and paper towel rolls?! I have those! I also have that book! Definitely going to add this to my mass make plans. Thanks for sharing! #giveascrap
Would make the perfect mass make project! You are all set with the terrific book too.😊 Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Happy crafting! ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting Kathy!❤️ That’s definitely one of the keys, to get the rolls to really flatten…for the tp rolls and the paper towel rolls after you cut them. Just had a thought that I bet a cast iron pan would work great as well.💡
Love these! Awesome use of the empty rolls and such a gorgeous botanical theme! Great #giveascrap video. Have a wonderful crafty day! Bexx 😊
Thank you so much Bexx! 💓So glad you enjoyed the video and thank you again for watching. A wonderful crafty day to you too.🤗

I saw the tp roll idea somewhere else but mine wouldn't flatten enough, 🙄 so I haven't used them yet. Yours are really cute. ❤❤
