I appreciate the video! I know it may seem silly for me to watch since I’ve lived here all my life, but I was just curious what the highlights are for visitors. I can say without a doubt the gathering place is one of the single coolest things here, so much so that it has attracted celebrities to come visit. Also if you decide to live here be mindful of what section you are interested in. Certain areas unfortunately have a higher crime rate than others (that’s anywhere in U.S.) any suburb of Tulsa like Jenks, Bixby, Broken Arrow, are all great!

Really good highlights. But the Gilcrease Museum is also a significant museum in Tulsa area and a must see. I would add it to this list, along with the Greenwood Historical District.
I think they just demolished Gilcrease Museum, but only to build it better and bigger. Looked in pretty good shape to me. I got married there. Guess someone had some money to burn.

@@fkurfeelings6938 saying traffic in Tulsa is bad is a surefire way to know you’ve never been in any other major city during rush hour. Tulsa rush hour means leaving 10 minutes earlier. Los Angeles rush hour means leaving an hour earlier
@F**kurfeelings69 , I’m from Tulsa and spent the last 25+ years living in Los Angeles. Tulsa traffic is great compared to LA. Put it into perspective. In Los Angeles County only there are close to 11 million residents with 80,000 homeless which alone, the homeless would make it the 5th largest city alone in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has a little under 4 million in the whole state, while LA County alone has 11 million. I drive the city daily and a 30 mile drive is a minimum 1 hour and average 1.5 hours, many times more for the 30 miles. Not trying to punch holes in your comment, just sayin’, LA is a commuters or anyone who spends time driving here, nightmare. Can’t wait until I get back to Tulsa permanently.
Once you get there and get settled in, it’s a great city to raise a family, start a business, super affordable housing. I’m from Tulsa and have lived in Los Angeles the last 25 years and that alone has given me such a stronger realization what a great city Tulsa is. Every city gets mixed reviews, but people in Tulsa always seem to welcome new residents with open arms. My 2 cents worth.
Good video. You asked if you had mispronounced anything. You did mispronounce Lafortune. The LA part is as you would expect. It's LA. But the fortune part is like saying "he is worth a fortune" or "she made a fortune selling Avon." LAFORTUNE PARK.
