Thanks for this interesting video. I was fortunate to see Barbirolli conduct a couple of times with both the Houston and Boston Symphonies and actually greet him after one of the concerts. Many members of the BSO said he was their favorite conductor. The sound he got out of the orchestra - especially the strings - was something I will never forget:
