this was so cool. you brought a classic back to life. Especially in this economy we're gonna need to keep these on the road. thanks for the content bro
@joseg93ify thanks, brother. It's been a journey filming this one. I skipped a lot, but I was able to do it. Glad you all liked it. I know some will be confused if they didn't watch my other 1st video.
@TimMiller-j6j for real man. i remember my dad's 1st toyota, he was a big ford fan. And in the 90s he bought his 1st 1977 toyota. Then the 80s - 90s n so on. He owned a lot over the years. But he loved the 84-88 body style. If i could buy or find 1 of his old ones it be sweet.
@juansoriano658 it was a process making this video. I'm glad you all like it. I hope it sells. I have some cash invested on it, haha. Thanks for the support, sir
That's gonna be an awesome truck! I personally think those are the best looking years!👍 It's criminal that it sat for so long with only a head gasket? Guy was a dumbass! If it was my truck, it would have been back on the road in a week at most!
Guy is a cool person. He kept it for so long cause he wanted to keep it and fix it. But he is a Rancher and in his late 50s now. He works almost every day like 12-15hrs shifts. In my other video I explain a lil more and had a conversation with him as I bought it. I begged him for like 3 years to sell it to me. They attempt to steal it several times and he decided to let it go, or it could turned worse for truck.
Normally we would check the tank and fuel system. Take off the intake just to see. Never had a rat run out from under the hood though. Can’t stand what they do to a vehicle. Any fuel from probably the last 10 years is suspect. That’s normally how we would. What was wrong with it originally
@Hootman865 oh yeah I totally understand what you mean now. Truck was parked cause it had a blown head gasket. That's what he said. Being parked that long I really thought engine was locked. Months earlier I had bought the donor truck. So I wasn't going to sweat it and just replace it. But now I'm thinking it probably only has a bad timing cover. Cause we found chain guide pieces in oil pan when we switched them.

Got to love these Toyotas , I’ve had many and think about them everyday how I wish I never let them go. Good job bringing it back to health

In Washington state there is a Toyota wreaking yard called 410 auto wreaking.
@laurafiler3760 really? Interesting I'll do a research on it
Great video! Are you interested in reviewing a scan tool?

Hey bro could you help get my Toyota previa running again. I think it’s the fueling issue I’m not sure.
Rip little buddy. 😢
He jumped out of nowhere and scared me 🫣. What we're the odds of catching him with the hood, tho.
How could I contact you, I’m interested in buying the truck. I live in Oregon and would like to check it out and see if we could do something
@OscarAvalos-k5y Hectorb1721@gmail.com my Email. Waiting on 1 person to see if he is buying it or not.
