Trip Report | Transavia Boeing 737-700 | Girona (GRO) - Rotterdam (RTM)

🇬🇧 Flights between small European airports are special, especially from autumn to spring, when the empty airports are waiting for the return of summer season and a large number of flights with holidaymakers. Departing from the airport on one of 4-5 flights a day, you feel as if it opens especially for you.
🇪🇸 Crowded during the summer months, in October Girona Airport served only a couple of Ryanair and Transavia flights per day. If in summer most of the passengers are tourists, in autumn and winter the airport is used mainly by German and Dutch seniors living on the Costa Brava (and their family members), as well as by Catalans who work in Germany and the Netherlands.
🛫 By the way, Ryanair recently announced the restoration of its base in Girona, one aircraft is already based in the Catalan airport.
