Even though it was small, we had a great time. As I mentioned before, it was great to get to meet you there, Mike. Hope that ATAS you were testing is still working for you. After we talked, it motivated me to come home and diagnose why mine had stopped working. It was completely corroded inside and rusty… I cleaned the circuit board the best I could, but I am pretty sure the motor is dead.
Good to meet you too. I had a lot of fun at the fest. I gave up on the ATAS. My Tarheel works so well it's not even worth me fussing with the ATAS. Too bad about yours. My buddy is selling the one I have so if you're interested let me know. I have no idea what he wants for it though.
The hoveround joke I cant! Too good but too true! 73. Gotta love the wives trying their best to not die of boredom with their little boothes while the husband goes around spending too much money
Good to know. My friends just moved to Baytown this year. We are going to visit in July. I’m kind of spoiled living in Huntsville Al with our indoor hamfest. Hope to see you again this year in Huntsville.
LOL...I was talking to you at the Troll bar in Dayton about Bucee's and just got hungry for some brisket tacos! They need to put one of those in Tucson where I'm near. 73! Mike ND7E.
Hey Mike it looks like a great and fun hamfest. Look like it have some good looking old equipment. Thanks for stopping by and down the video. WD5ENH Steve
dang that place was huge. they could have a three day hamfest and you still wouldn't see everything. all that futuristic ham gear, must be prototype and will not be out until 30 years down the road.
I didn't know there was a hamfest in Baytown. There is the Tidelands Texas City Hamfest in July 2023 and the Greater Houston Hamfest resuming in March of 2023.
man i miss hamfest here in north east georgia nothing! in georgia rest of year according to the arrl hamfest list would have to travel alooong way to go to a small to medium HF even the Atlanta area is dead rest of this year..73s all
They should have chosen a building with a lower ceiling to host the Hamfest in. That ceiling was far too high at about 4m: Almost touch the ceiling with your arms stretched up. No wonder it smelled!!!

A local club (Fair Lawn ARC, NJ) is having their second ham fest this year. Watching all this footage the last two weeks has me very excited!
It's so nice to get back out and smell the old electronics!

Interesting walk Mike, love the older radio's. 73
Good looking hamfest, 1/2 Heliax for POTA, Elecraft Blinkie lights. Good deal on the mic boom.
I know, I should have grabbed that Heliax for my go bag. Super happy about the boom!
The Houston area is so huge it is good to have events on both sides of it
Neat little hamfest. Great deal on that boom Mike! 73
Isn't this only the 2nd year its been there? I lived in crosby the town right next to it and wish it had been around then.
It is.

The guys at Dayton and Orlando need to step it up!
I know, right? That's what I told them.
Thanks for the tour, Mike.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tour 👍 Vy 73 MABUHAY🎉
Over twice as much stuff there compared to the last local hamfest I went to.

I can't wait for the Houston Ham Fest. Too bad they canceled it this year.
@@hamradiotube I was disappointed too, but at least the GH Tailgate took place.
Interesting tour. I know a few of those guys.
I kinda like these half and one day only events. Match's people skeds.
10:19 👍🖕, thanks for the videos Mike!
Some prices were good, some were Texas sized!!!
Great video. Will continue to subscribe. Sweet Georgia Brown. Good Day.

Your antenna tuner is in it.
What’s an antenna tuner?
Atas-100 = issues. Atas -120A was much better with resisting water intrusion.
BVARC is planning a fall tailgate.

I just thumbs up'ed because of the F Biden sticker...lol JK keep up the good work. De KG5DGO
A lott of decent stuff but otherwise just a garbage sale
a lot of the stuff seem way over priced
I think that's every ham fest. $20 for a Heil boom is a steal for me!
What a load of absolute junk!!!
