So is Spanish mackerel like a barracuda? Actually looks like a cross between tarpon and barracuda of Florida . Funny thing is barracuda are often associated with biting smaller caught fish in 1/2 just like happened there. I ve lost many yellow tales that way... great video!
The emerald eye on that parrot fish was a striking contrast compared to the rest of the pink and blue. The “Taxman” did you a favor by taking his share off of the rudder of that mackerel! Made for a short fight, he bled it out for you and you did not lose any of the good meat! Win Win!

Some of the cliff rock you dance on and put trust in is suspense enough, let alone hooking tough fish. Hats off to you Gido! I also love the fact you rarely have to worry about anyone else around fishing these spots. Of course the negative is, if you slip up, there's no one around and it's a trek out for help... Oh and there's hungry shark in the water... Be safe and best regards mate from USA.

It was hard to tell how big the Spanish was until you lifted it up. So thick like he's been on steroids man! Didn't get a good look at the shark but it must have been a beauty to cut off the tail that cleanly. Don't ever fall in brah.

It's my dream to see a live stream fishing vlogger get eaten by a pack of sharks just to see how long he'll keep trying to get content and keep narrating. Love the vids etc, but can I ask that you take a mat or canvas sheet with you, so that you can put the fish down on the mat, so that they don't land up ripping themselves up on rocks etc. Especially as you catch and release most fish. It would just be good to see and others to follow your lead on that. We all love to fish and we love our prise, so let's treat them with a bit of care and minimise any damage to them before releasing. Cheers
Hundred percent agree! he gos to a lot of care and effort for his own safety. A lot of the times I'm not seeing the same for the fishes. In the sport of catch release the fishes Health, Safety and well-being is quite high on a professional anglers list. Write down to wetting down to brag mat before putting the fish on it to special release aids for deep sea caught (flotation bladder) fish. This part is the only thing that this fella lacks in being a true accomplished Angela.

I was just curious about the jagged rocks along much of your coastline... is it because of volcanic activity? Btw, I love your fishing videos!!! I’m from Southern California where fishing from shore is a lot different...

I normally have a last cast when I'm not catching anything. The last cast is always your last cast therefore I always say 'another cast increases the odds'. That way my companions don't say 'I thought that was your last cast'.

That is similar to eating the gray trigger fish we have in th Gulf of Mexico. Very firm, delicately crab flavored.
That Spanish Mackeral was MASSIVE....i dont kow if you would have been able to land it whole....although you do have a habit of finding a way lol

You didn't eat the blue bone they are an excellent eating fresh, but no good to freeze. Freezing brings out the water when cooking.
