Planting & Farming Dragon Fruit Plant for Commercial Gardening - Port Moresby - Papua New Guinea

Dragon plant fruit is very delicious and juicy and is favored by many, especially those who have tasted it. The plant comes in various varieties with different fruit colors.
It also has a medicinal properties which are good for humans as it contains betalains in its fleshy fruit which helps reduces bad cholesterol and the black seeds inside the fruits also are rich in omega 3 and omega 9 fatty acids which is good for the heart and reduces risks of cardiovascular diseases.
The Dragon Fruit Plant comes under the Family of Cactaceae (Cactus) with the scientific name of Selenicerus undatus.
This is my first time to see a live plant and as well to propagate and plant and looking forward to flower and fruit within the next 2-3 years or so, as it takes about 2-4 years to begin to flower and fruit.
