Two things about your lemon tree. It can take up to several years for lemon trees to bear fruit, so depending on how old your tree was when you planted it, will determine when it will finally fruit. Also, you need to give the tree extra nutrients twice a year. Also, you don’t want the branches touching other things (like the fence) while it is maturing. So it will need to be properly trimmed by an arborist.

The lemon tree while maturing can’t have their limbs touching anything. The reason why it’s not producing is because it’s limbs are touching the fence. ❤😊

I know it sounds gross but lemon trees really like manure as fertilizer. They flourish with it, so if you have any farms nearby and can get some fresh/untreated/chemical free manure, your lemon tree will thank you.

My sister is plant obsessed and names them. Anyway, she has become very knowledgeable about plant anatomy and knows how to treat them when sick and has told me a long time ago that cutting off stems or branches promotes growth. I thought it was counter productive but the plant is still alive.

Jess, depending on the age of your tree when you planted, it can take several years for it to produce. Meyer trees can take up to five years, so hold in there and you'll be rewarded in another year or two. 😉

Oddly enough onions are my favorite veggie. Red/Purple onions are sweeter and are best for eating raw on salads, tacos, avocado toast, etc. and the White/Yellow onions are more bitter and are best when sauted or cooked. The same goes for bell peppers the four knobbed ones (females) are sweeter and best for eating raw and the three knobbed ones (males) are bitter and best for cooking. If you are eating bell peppers and they taste bitter/sour then you are eating the male bell pepper which is meant for cooking.

Lemon trees 6 years old to produce, also needs the correct fertilizer. With that being new ground with no good top soil, find some good lemon special fertilizer. Find a garden center in your area who would know what to do with new build ground to get your tree on track for doing more than leaves. Good luck. The tree is beautiful.

Frozen always. It tastes more like fresh. Also, in the canning process, the product is heated to a high temp to aid in preserving the canned product. That process heats up enough that it destroys the vitamins and minerals in the process. Frozen usually tastes better to me. I grew up eating vegetables straight from the garden. I can taste the can with most every kind I’ve tried.

Just a heads up: when things are fat free, they substitute the fat for more sugar (for flavour), which means fat free options are always higher in sugar than the full fat options. Sugar is way worse for you because your body will take the fat in foods and burn it as energy, but sugar can't all be burned immediately, which means it is turned to fat inside of you. Sugar that is turned to fat inside of you is not immediately burned, it is stored. So it's way healthier to go for the full fat options and look for sugar free or low sugar foods than it is to go for low or no fat options.

A lemon tree should be 6-8 ft part from a wall so it’s roots can spread out and the branches can also spread out that’s why it’s not producing anything also you should check the amount of water your pouring and lastly I don’t think the tree is big enough or ready to produce it matters on how long you’ve had it. Exposure to cold is a common reason for lemon trees to lose their blossoms without bearing fruit. Lemon trees do not tolerate much cold, and are generally more sensitive to cold than they are to heat
