This is marvelous. I play it for my backyard friends (squirrels and birds) as I feed them and they love it. As soon as they hear it they they know it's time to eat.
I used to be a professional classical musician, I taught high school and toured in broadway shows. A combination of arthritis and living in isolated places means I haven't been able to play orchestral percussion or mallets in a long time. The orchestra here rarely plays. Small island. I miss orchestra and band life. The internet is all I have. Thank you! I listen to Halidon every day!

I played this for my dog and she wagged her tail and burrowed her head into my neck like she was giving me a hug and then she went to sleep.. It never crossed my mind that maybe dogs like music too 😁❤🐶
Dogs are thought to not be able to appreciate (comprehend) music the same way we do. They do not have the same sense of time as us so it likely just sounds like random, soft sounds to them. But, your doggo was most likely calmed by being in your presence after they sensed your relaxation. So, if this music puts you in a better mood or relaxes you, your canine friends will likely be calmed by association when they sense your calm demeanor. Dogs are very in-tune with how members of their family are feeling.
Aged about 3 I sang this lovely Brahms Cradle Song f 7:15 or my lovely grandparents, as best I could sitting on the top stair before climbing into bed. Nana shed a few tears, her only son, my father had died in N ormandy in 1944 and I was her first grandchild. Sleep well NANA and GRANDPA

I'm sitting here tonight listening to this with only a candle for light, in my little rv up here in Alaska. My sweet pup and I are enjoying the beautiful music after a long, long day. Hi Tracy I commercial fished for 12 years in Dutch Harbor I know how it the Peace and Quite hearing Eagle's fly by the tide coming in quarter mile away (when not on boat) from the land base. Work was hard but I have some good memories.

What's particularly nice for me in this collection is that there are several which I have never really "listened" to before so "thoroughly". Yet those are interspersed with the more "common" pieces. Just as nice, however, is that by concentrating more on the "common" pieces while working on my retirement hobbies is that the "common" pieces are becoming somewhat more "uncommon" in their true and explicit beauty. Thank you for such a beautiful and very relaxing (in earnest) compilation of beautiful classical music. This almost 3 hours of music got me through a long afternoon of pressure canning in my kitchen. Wireless earbud make for hands-free work. It just helped block out my thoughts in my head that sometimes get in the way of an otherwise enjoyable experience. Thank you. AND... thank you for not having all the ads. I was trying to listen to some bluegrass yesterday and there were ads after every single song. Some were short, other's were much longer. When I was very young my mother used to sing the Brahms cradle song to me. In German. But she was not German or Austrian . She and her family never gave away their origins though some of it was Irish, not all of it was.
I think Brahms's Wiegenlied is the first thing people think of when they see "Peaceful Classical Music" 😜 Have you heard Schubert's Wiegenlied? It's so beautiful, and tbh everything by Schubert is so underrated!!! 😭He's the best composer ever. 🥰 (Awesome to see you've got his Ave Maria in here though!!! 🥳)

Please go see a doctor about those pains. At the least they could be gluten allergy, which can be alleviated, at the worst it could be an emergency.

What's particularly nice for me in this collection is that there are several which I have never really "listened" to before so "thoroughly". Yet those are interspersed with the more "common" pieces.
Just as nice, however, is that by concentrating more on the "common" pieces while working on my retirement hobbies is that the "common" pieces are becoming somewhat more "uncommon" in their true and explicit beauty.

Thank you for such a beautiful and very relaxing (in earnest) compilation of beautiful classical music. This almost 3 hours of music got me through a long afternoon of pressure canning in my kitchen. Wireless earbud make for hands-free work. It just helped block out my thoughts in my head that sometimes get in the way of an otherwise enjoyable experience. Thank you. AND... thank you for not having all the ads. I was trying to listen to some bluegrass yesterday and there were ads after every single song. Some were short, other's were much longer. Very frustrating. Again... a very sincere thank you.💜💜

When I was very young my mother used to sing the Brahms cradle song to me. In German. But she was not German or Austrian . She and her family never gave away their origins though some of it was Irish, not all of it was.
I think Brahms's Wiegenlied is the first thing people think of when they see "Peaceful Classical Music" 😜 Have you heard Schubert's Wiegenlied? It's so beautiful, and tbh everything by Schubert is so underrated!!! 😭He's the best composer ever. 🥰 (Awesome to see you've got his Ave Maria in here though!!! 🥳)
