i want to get the same pc like you, but with i5 12400f that is slightly better. should i cap it at 240fps or 200fps?
I always play uncapped but I make sure I’m always using nvidia reflex or whatever it’s called but I have it turned on+boost

Make sure ur on performance mode and not dx11, also watch an itsjerian video on how to optimise ur PC. stretch resolution might help

Gotta upgrade the whole rig tbh. i3-12100f and 1660s are a good budget pairing.
i started off with a gt 1030 ryzen 3 3100 now my build has a gtx 1070 and ryzen 5 5600 ik the cpu is over kill for it but all i play is games that need a lot of cpu power but yeah we all gotta start somewhere

It’s because I was gliding in, frames are always low when your about to land
cpu bottleneck in performance mode use dx12 for higher

Can I ask a question I am from Australia I only play fortntie I am on oce servers I am building my first pc I am getting ddr4 Corsair 2x8 th and 1tb Kingston ssd m.2 gen 3 what cpu and gpu should I get I am thinking a 3070 and a ryzen 5 5600x or a Rx 6700 xt and a ryzen 5 5600x domI need liquid cooling or not and how much is it for windows I want the most fps buy the way so what would you recommend or 3060 ti
i would say get the 6700xt since it offers the same performance as the 3070 for much cheaper. if you want better ray tracing performance and dlss then go for the 3070, 3060 ti is a good choice but its not as good as the 6700xt and is slightly more expensive depending on the model
and depending on your budget i would say save up more money and get one of the new am5 processors like the 7600/7600x, if you can't, then try going for the 5800x/5800x3d to avoid cpu bottlenecks

@@YTCORQ0 the motherboard depends entirely on which cpu you plan on getting. if you go with 5000 series cpu you need an am4 motherboard, and if you get a 7000 series cpu you need an am5 motherboard
@@YTCORQ0 for am4 i would say if you want a premium motherboard go for like an msi mag b550 tomahawk, if you don't care about many usb ports or 2.5gb ethernet and stuff you can go for a cheaper motherboard. am5 though you can go which any but some are very pricey usually starting at around the $200 range but can be a little less for example a b650m pro from ASRock. it all depends on which cpu you decide to get

Makes sense, fortnite is a cpu based game so if u have a good cpu you will get more frames
what are all your specs?I play on a laptop with 60 fps now and I need a good pc for mainly fortnite

@@BubaSmells I have the same cpu as u and I play on performance mode with everything on low I have my cpu and ram on xmp, I enable resize bar, I have afterburner and I have all my drivers up to date

@@jovisunassee1232 is your cooling all good? Are you on performance mode? Have you watched some itsjerian videos on optimising ur pc? If you have done all of those then I’m sorry but I have no clue what is wrong, also make sure you have at least 50-100gb if free storage AT THE LEAST
