Forget about Whitney Houston forget about Barbara Streisand forget about Karen Carpenter etc....Lucy Thomas is the greatest female singer I've ever heard. Not only such a pure and powerful voice but she also performs the songs superbly and connects the meaning behind the lyrics with expressive and emotional input. ❤
Lucy incredibly growing more powerful with every new song she releases. Her beauty and humility just adds to the pleasure of listening to her wonderful voice. The sky truly the limit for her talent.
We flew to Tokyo last week to see her in concert. The Japanese loves her. Not a dry eye in the house. She was even better live. She sang with a piano player and no backup track or backup singer. He voice was just stunning. She is also very sweet and humble .
Lucy’s interpretation of so many songs that are universally known for their big notes is an art. She softens the beginning and teases you with the promise of power but makes you wait as she further softens the song, before ramping up the volume and power at the end. This style gives so many songs a different feel, especially when she extends, with perfect pitch and control, notes that are quite often short in the original version. She is simply amazing ❤

Hello Touchy Reactions, I am so pleased you have reacted to Lucy singing " One Moment In Time " this cover is just so special, Lucy is just so outstanding she is just so amazing. Last Sunday she sang 20 songs live in a concert in Tokyo it was just her & her pianist the theatre was packed a full house. Tell Cindy that not many people had ever heard of Lucy Thomas before the concert, they do now !!! the reports came back that she was breathtaking just so amazing, there were many of Japan;s top entertainers watching this concert & they could not believe just how good she was. there was a 3 minute standing ovation for her at the end which was just so rare in theJapanese culture. I await the London concert in October. Take care, Barbara.
Don't think it's rare, the Japanese are very respectful during concerts know matter how good or indifferent the artist is!, then at the end they really show their emotions!, I am sure Lucy deserved the standing ovation she received, she is amazing!😊
Thank you for your emotional heartfelt honest and genuine reaction. Lucy regularly has me in tears, I confess, and she had a whole audience in tears in Tokyo on 8th September. Lucy is a unique vocal talent just waiting to be discovered by the wider world. Her potential is off the Richter Scale and yes, she would be perfect as a guest entertainer at an event like Super Bowl. The crowd wouldn’t know what hit them. There are plenty more big ballads out there that Lucy has recorded. Her channel is chock full of great stuff. You’d be like the kids in the candy store!
Great reaction by you both - Thx. "Pure" is a good way to describe Lucy and her vocals. Her magic, along with THAT voice, has always been making you feel the song thru her singing, passion and emotions. She is brilliant and knocks the breath out of me every time I hear/watch her.
Well, Cindy, you were hammered by the 'Lucy effect', LOL! No, this is a beautiful thing; I have shed tears to many Lucy performances! Her concert in Tokyo was incredible; the Japanese people were blown away, of course, by not only Lucy's vocals and overwhelming emotional intensity she emits, but also her elegance, charm, sweetness, and grace after the concert and at her meet-n-greet the next day! She has a new demographic of Lucy supporters: young Japanese women! I love it!

I have been a huge Lucy fan since I found her about three years ago. She is by far the best pop singer I have ever heard and I am 87.--Bob W. It is fun to see how both of you react to her.
Not just a pop singer Bob. Lucy can also perform in any genre including :- Jazz, Classic Rock, Classical Crossover, Musical Theatre and Country. She' pretty special is Lucy Thomas.
Yes our very own lucy Thomas one of the greatest of this generation.yes, ryan lucy is a very beautiful young lady who sings with such emotion her diction and control and vibrato is as good as it gets great reaction guys 👏🔥👑
Judging by comments made aross the spectrum of TH-cam, theres a vast amount of people commentating on Lucy's videos, they are spread across the USA From Arizona to Florida.to Illinois. Then from Brazil to Australia. Lucy, slowly but surely is becoming a world recognised performer and her forth coming Musical "Rosie" in the West End, will be the catapult to superstardom and the chance to take it to Broadway.
Hi guys. I’ll be the 1st to tell you how much I appreciate your reactions. Very heartfelt. And Lucy is incomparable, as you know from your previous reaction to Unchained Melody.
You could also try "La Vie En Rose" 4 years old now and she was only 16 but it"s outstanding singing and when she finishes off with a close up staring straight through the camera at you with those baby blues while finishing with a power ending it is stunning. Her voice has warmed up and strengthened since but all the basics were there at the time also try "Memories" from the Cats musical for beautiful vocals and belting and she was only 15.
Hi great to see you back with Lucy. She nails this song She is a master of her art amazing breath control beautiful tone and amazing vibrato. Chris Broom song writter and owner of Cavendish records the label Lucy is under First meet Lucy when she was 13 and asked her to sing his song "One Day" which was Lucy´s first commercial recording He said of Lucy that she has the ability to be one of the greatest vocalists of all time as she had the rare ability to bring her audience into her song.Try reacting to some of Lucy´s older songs she has over 70 on her channel you will see that even at 13 & 14 she had a perfect vocal control. Thanks for supporting Lucy.
Thank you for your kind words and support of Lucy. Lucy is just so crazy good. Another reactor said about Lucy that every song she tackles, she just makes it more beautiful. Also she doesn’t attack a song she just sings it like it’s supposed to be sung. I would like suggest a song that Lucy covered that I won two Grammys two years running. “Evergreen” is a Barbra Streisand song. Great reaction guys to a young lady destined to be an international superstar. May I highly request the song that kicked off her commercial career "One Day." Written by Chris Broom and performed by Lucy when she was only 13 years old, you'll both be amazed how good she was in her first studio recording.
Thank you both for supporting the best singer of the planet. You are not unique: She just brought a whole theatre to tears in Tokyo. Looks like they will see a lot more of Lucy in the future. About changing the world: her musical Rosie ends with a song titled "We can change the world",specially witten for her by Chris Broom. She has a studio version as well as a live version (from her Manchester concert) on TH-cam. I suspect that will be your next reaction Enjoy!
I'm 74 and have been following Lucy's career since she was 13 on the Voice kids. Two songs always bring me to tears: We can Change the World, and Brand New Day, recorded for an upcoming TV series. It is THE one that touches me like no other. Either would be a great choice to react to.

If you like Lucy's expressive performances, take a look at a Lucy's grossly overlooked rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Reflection" Lucy was just fifteen when she recorded this and you can see then that she had already mastered the art of performance.
Given your comments on this you really need to react to Lucy’s original song “We can change the World”. There are two versions out there a studio version and, in my opinion, an even better live version from Lucy’s Manchester concert (I was there!). “ We can change the World” is the final song from the musical “ Rosie” which Lucy will be starring early next year, it’s also the title given to Lucy’s recent concert in Tokyo.
