    I think you should try sprinting!!! It definitely helps a lot.

      Thanks for the tip! I do sprinting sometimes- I kind of swing back and forth between weeks where I do sprints all the time and weeks where I just sit down and write for a while. I just do whatever I find to be working for me at the moment.

      @@kenziedegall Try to focus more on building discipline than focusing on motivation. To be a consistent habit means you should do a little bit more so than relying on feeling. I been there. This one of the things I hated intensely, but it is important.

      @@lilseasalt definitely working on my discipline! But I do find that sometimes my writing flow is better with sprinting, and sometimes the words come easier with long sessions, which is why I move back and forth between the two. That part of it is less about my motivation and more about what gets the words going in general.

      @@kenziedegall Maybe I should try flow writing as well. I feel like I have been having a lot of trouble with creativity recently as my books have been quite formula feeling recently.
