Absolutely LOVE this new addition to the game. They're so unique and cool, and as you've noticed, the voice acting is phenomenal. Only bad thing is that they're so cool I now don't want to play other factions xD
I've been playing this mod online with a friend of mine and we've noticed the fps tanks when there are alot of characters on screen. my gaming laptop should easily be able to handle this game and my keyboard is cold so it doesnt use that much. Is there a fix for this problem? "getting higher than 10 fps in a big fight"
This game engine is old and it doesn't really help too much having a really good pc I'm afraid. The game is capped out at 30 fps to start with but the best way to get more fps is to lower your graphic settings. Things like shadows, spell fx and unit detail being lower will help some.
This is easily the coolest faction yet. I'm about to start playing this again, do I need to download every release prior to this or can I just download this one and it will have everything?

Legolas will be in the greenwood faction which they'll release later As for Gimli, Gloin, King Dain , etc they're gonna make a lotr era erebor which will have these heroes and some changes to buildings and units

It’s a very different game than the original. Incredible work done, but very different units and hero abilities.

Doesn’t the enemy take damage in the “dark presence” circles as well?
No, Dark Presence only counters Slow Decay and slightly buffs your own units.
How about the greenwood faction where is it?
That’s the next faction they are working on so it’s not out yet.

It says on their mod page in the instructions but v5.1 is the current version and does not need prior versions.
