Too clever by halves your missus. 😊 The booster plug tricks the ECU into thinking the ambient air temperature is lower than it is and thus richens up the mixture 👍. It's like leaving the choke out a bit on a MK1 Escort 😂
Begging for an opium lined cigarette (even if it wasn't) is MAD! What a guy. Also the placebo and nocebo is a very powerful phenomenon. If that little box is a placebo and works for you, happy days, if not send it back. No worries!

Right, the bit you touched at 4:57 is where the booster plug attaches. The bikes diagnostic plug is next to it and should be lifted free to give you a little more room to work. But I'm sure you figured it out a couple of months ago. Does the booster plug work?
I don't know anything about the "Plug." But, when you said you listen to your better half and that she is a pretty savvy person... I know that is the correct attitude. 👍😁 I picked up the T7 this morning. It's a dirt bike on steroids, just what I was after!🥰 Have a great weekend, I'm off to see Ms Wolf.
Never never open a motorcycle package and invoice in the kitchen 😂😂 except if its all the junk i order from Aliexpress, heated grips for £4.5 😂😂. Im genuinely interested if this works now? Fuel ex is available for my bike so... thanks Willie
Hi Wille. If as with the fuel ex its effecting the ECU, the changes can only be small as too much could interfere with the bikes overall performance . Big advantage is you can always take it off if its not for you.
Just checked the TEC booster website - it states up front that the booster is strictly for off road use and is not road legal. Are you invalidating your insurance by fitting one of these?
Doesn't a soldering iron have a flux capacitor somewhere? I'm continually amazed at what obviously clever people put their electronic degrees to in the motorcycle aftermarket. Like training as a surgeon and doing cosmetic nail extensions as a side line.
It's fairly straightforward. Connect the Boom Digger connector to the swift wheel, and make sure it's not soft set as your crank cable leading to the Boom Digger will not work with the attachment or, as the Chinese say Diànqì xiāng. Once that's done, you're on your way, my son, or As Macbeth said to Hamlet in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ' you have been done up like a couple of kippers.'"
I believe it works like this. It only works when the throttle position is changing, it controls the amount of fuel going to the injectors (now i don''t know if it increases or decreases fuel someone else may know) It does this by modifying the ECU fuel demand signal. My eduated guess is, it increases to overcome the overly lean conditions demanded by E5 emissions, and make it a little more rich, when the throttle is stationary it just relays the fuel signals determined by the ECU.
Funny. I hope your other half isn't watching..... you might have to retract the ( I think she's right ) . Willie, she is right. She will always be right and is right ! ☝️😞🤔😁😅🤣😂
I think there’s certainly a placebo effect possible with motorbikes. We see it all the time with aftermarket exhaust. People swear on their mother’s life that they feel a 5+ horsepower increase “by the seat of their pants.” Then you’ll have multiple dynos around the world confirm that the same set up they are running doesn’t change peak power or torque at all, merely moves the power band around the rev range a little bit. I hope that isn’t the case here, and it really solves your low speed issues. Then again, if you THINK it solved the problem, is that the same result? 🤔 Life is but a dream…😂
It is very odd that people seem to have such mixed views on. these booster plugs when it should work exactly the same on every bike. It does make me wonder if there is a lot of "buyers confirmation bias" going on where no one wants to look an idiot for spending money on something that doesn't do anything. I can see how a remap of the ecu could produce definitive results because you are giving the ecu new instructions on how to fuel the engine at any given throttle opening but I'm yet to be convinced that trying to "trick" the ecu by giving it the wrong info about ambient air temperature is going to do anything significant enough for it to make any real difference but I could be wrong.

Yes totally baffled Mark....I've done 60 miles since I put the booster plug on and I'll do a video tomorrow with my thoughts on it 😉
Im not sure about my bike, but i could deffo do with a booster plug!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Me thinks yer wife is one sharp cookie 😉
Wonder if it’s just a trick (and expensive) way of putting your tune into permanent Rain Mode…😄
Well I've just done a 20 mile test...results tomorrow!
Don’t stick it in the wrong hole. It can cause extreme discomfort. 👍👍👍
Is this coming from experience buddy?!? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

My booster plug for the 1200XE came with Instructions
Mine didn't! Bought it from TEC PARTS and have to download it..booster plug is now fitted

Haha! Great comments Mark! 👍 thinking the problem has been solved is the same thing! Think you'll be interested in my thoughts on the booster plug!!!
It will only work if your bike is the version fitted with the double ended flange sprocket.
🤣😂😂🤣
50% say it works and 50% say it does not ,on the same bike how many people own that bike. Confused from West Moors 😄
Yes it's very strange 😕 I've spoken to people that says it completely changes the bike yet I've read lots of reviews saying it does nothing at all! 🤔
It works by magic pixies…
Ooooh!
