I’m a bit upset no discussion on Void Grubs change. Staggering it with dragons spawn ideally discourages a lot of the lane swapping, although really it’s just been lane dodging. Lots of times the weaker bot lane still got to trade an objective
The mord buff is actually not as bad as he mentioned. Mord does not get to choose ult target often, and support sometimes can invest a qss to fk mord up, as well as jungler. Mord ult is more of a survival burst button in teamfights rather than 1v1 duel adc button.
Re. “Do people read patch notes,” not LoL specifically but for TFT, a game that has significantly more impactful changes every patch, top player Frodan ran a survey of 126 Challenger players internationally (including worlds and regionals winners) and a good percentage of the responders (7.1%) said they just straight up don’t read patch notes. Make of that what you will. (Granted, some of these players aren’t actively playing anymore but Frodan was asking in the context of when they were grinding to hit Chal.)
7.1% not reading patch notes isn't that crazy. That's 9 chal players that don't read patch notes. If anything that shows that challenger players very much read patch notes.

I think LS severely underestimated Kaisa's buff, its 5% AD ratio per missle, kaisa fire 12 missiles so in total its a 19% increase in AD ratio 5 + 11(5x0.25)= 18.75%
How does 30 base health for akali equate to "she cant be moved out of lane anymore", but azir losing 72 HP over the course of a 4 min TP interval (base timer) is nothing
Akali is always having to walk into the enemy's range to kill minions, 30 hp on Akali matters more because she is getting hit more often and at the same time is using second wind and dorans shield to regen that HP back.
Azir isn't getting hit very much in lane in most games for the regen to matter since people don't counterpick him well anyway. Corki/Ori are some of the more popular "counter" lanes into him, which losing regen doesn't matter 90% of the time into them in lane. Taliyah it can matter a bit, I imagine you probably would feel it in that lane. APA plays Ziggs which that matchup you will feel the regen being lost, but Ziggs already beats Azir pretty hard, it just makes Azir lose the matchup harder. But other counter matchups like Xerath/Vel'Koz/Brand/Lux, 1 most pros don't play them sadly, and 2 these champs already beat Azir hard. The nerf might incentivize these picks more but they already do beat Azir anyway so overall the nerf only matters for like 1 (common) matchup.
it's interesting that comparing mordekaiser to a sidedeck card makes sense to me, someone with basically zero professional tcg experience (outside of what I picked up from random ygo videos I watch like once or twice a year). somehow that explanation just works.

As a Draven player, his buff actually was big. His winrate went down because of non Draven players trying him, people trying out different builds to see if a different one became better, and Xayah+Nilah being meta.
