holt being there for rosa and i expected it to be awkward but it’s over a shared experience of discrimination and a shared hope of acceptance and he’s telling her that it’s gonna be okay in the end and she’s believing him and it only lasts a second but it’s so sweet i might cry
Jake's family game night is probably my favourite scene in the whole show. It had nothing to do with their actual jobs, none of them had to do that, but when Rose needed a family, they all stepped up. and it's so sweet, and funny, and beautiful. I only wish we could have seen the game night, I'm sure it would have been hilarious.
honestly i take ginas comment as her saying shes bi too, as well as jake's "the fact that kelly amd kapowski didnt just come out of your mouth is lunacy"......like that one tweet said, b99 is just a bunch of chaotic bisexuals being wrangled by a lawful gay (other than our token straight terry)
Rosa’s amazing and I’m glad her coming out to the precinct went over pretty well (although it was for the best that Hitchcock didn’t ask his question 😉😂).💖💜💙
Gotta say ... Jake is such a good friend to her ... ... and so is Charles ... :'/ ... omg :'/ all of them ... this was honestly so nice and so cute. and lovely.
@Comedy bites please listen 🙏🙏🙏 I have realized that Roza's and Amy's Parents are actually the same type of people.... 1) Both fathers sport a ponytail and have interest much similar to their daughters.... Roza's Father liking Bikes and leather jackets, Amy's Father liking crosswords and binders..... Their behavior is also the same.... 2) Their Mothers also try to show the world that their family is respectable (in their own ways) 3) Both of the Parents were not in approval of their daughter's Partner - Jake for the Santiagos and Roza's Bisexuality for the Diaz family... 4)And in the end they both come to terms with their daughter's life , again the fathers being first.... NOW THIS IS THE ACTUAL LAZY WRITING .....
It's just the character he plays. Besides, Trejo is a cool guy. He plays bad guys to try and show kids that crime doesn't pay, I think that's great for him to do.
Such a brave, amazing hero. No one is bisexual these days. She's a rare gem... a magical unicorn of a person. I'm honored to accidentally have come across this video. So brave. So unique.
Bisexual? She was completely straight for a while then when she came out she seemed completely gay as she only dated women and didn't really seem interested in guys at all anymore. They botched it a bit.
Coming out as a bisexual woman is not daring or brave. There are no repercussions for being a bisexual woman, nobody except the most ardent homophobes will care at all. Actresses use it as a way to get positive publicity right before their next thing comes out, thats how little blowback there is for a woman being bi. Now if it was a man coming out as bi that would be a big deal. Men being bi are treated totally differently than woman being bi.
True, men usually meet much more backlash when coming out as bi, but it's not a competition, it's about being able to show the world who you truly are and being able to talk about it without being fucking killed, so every time someone steps out it becomes better for those who haven't yet. Telling others that you differ from the "norm" is scary no matter what, therefore takes a lot of bravery. Not a competition, but a common struggle in the face of a homophibic society
It is most certainly brave and daring. It's true that men face more backlash, but to unfair to devalue other journeys as well. I know women and men who came out as bisexual who were disowned or treated bad by their parents. So instead of being hateful or trying to drag down representation, why not advocate for more representation of men bisexuality. Bisexuality in itself is mostly looked down upon and it's great to have representation of any kind that values it in the right way. So yeah just because you think bi women don't struggle with backlash you are completely wrong.
@@osondrafournier-colon567 20 years ago you would be absolutely right, maybe even 10 years ago in particularly bigoted areas of the country. Nowadays almost nobody cares.
@@gabriels1163 That is certainly still not true, there still homophobia embedded everywhere. Towards men, women, and non binary people. So representation is still vital especially for the bi community.
Jake's "Family Game Night" was so sweet and Holt's approval and encouragement must've really helped Rosa :)
"bye Rosa I mean not bi but bye I mean see ya"
I just stop saying bye all together
4:32 Jakes face after rozas dad says we were worried you were gonna tell us you were gay just describes how all of us were feeling
4:29 *
Rose obviously means a lot to Jake
The fact that Jake has always been super supportive of Rosa just makes me very happy

She’s absolutely beautiful both as an actress and character. Shes a constant voice on Bobs Burgers and a number of other Fox animated shows
7:18 It’s incredible how an entire ship spawned from this one beautiful interaction.
In most fandoms, it requires even less than that to fuel the shippers’ fire.

Doug Judy: Rosa, Rosa, Rosa~
Are you finally single~?
Rosa: No.
Doug Judy: I respect that~
The scene where the squad shows up at Rosas for family game night always makes me cry
It makes me chuckle when scully comes in and he says, “hey Rosa, snacks.” Like a little kid
holt being proud of diaz for coming out makes me cry ugh i love them 😭
The scene with Rosa finally coming out to her parents reaches a level of serious that I haven’t ever seen this show touch in any other moment.
right like I said it’s nice to know your not alone and this is a very realistic way of coming out to your parents or guardian
Rosa so dark and badass and bisexual all at the same time
9:05 "cant wait to get this baby home and flatten it out 😏" I fuggin love it
It’s so sad when Rosa’s parents ask “What do you want us to say?” and when she tells them she wants them to accept who she is, they don’t. 😢
one of my favorite things about this is that stephanie beatriz (rosa) is actually bi irl!
“Dammit HITCHCOCK!!”
“Oh fantastic! I’m still involved!” 😂

Game Night episode holds a special place in my heart
I love that she is bi because I am as well and it just helps to know your not alone
s5 e10 is my favourite episode by far. My fav character is rosa and her coming out really hits home and makes me so emotional but i love it.

I wish they showed Rosa arresting her fake girlfriend.
i love rosa so much

Rosa’s actress actually voices Mirabel!

Hilarious how Rosa is pc in the latest season when she's the most aggressive "cop" on the force
The one crime of Brooklyn 99 was casting Danny Trejo as a bigot. Homie could never.
He could've said no if it bothered him and tbf, he's the accepting parent by the end of the ep.

She's a cop: I'm not sure any of them would be considered an ally let alone an icon of the LGBTIQ community
She leaves the force in the 8th season if that’s any consolation

To be fair, nobody goes back to dating men after dating a woman. It's like finding a diamond in a river but preferring to keep digging for rocks.
Unfortunately I'm straight. I thought she was cool but this video excluded me.
I really hope you’re kidding
Dude. In almost EVERY media straight people are included, you can take ten minutes of not being talked about.
Hey, now you know how lgbtq people have felt for the past 40 years, hell longer probably. Get over yourself
This is a joke right?? ...right??
Ruined a character for a woke ideology arc. Disgusting. It wasn't approached tactfully it was shoehorned in to preach at people.
She came out as bi
That was it.
Stop crying
ah yes. someone reveals their identity is considered woke nowadays. got it
