if you didnt know, the dragoon is actually a shotgun so use it at close range. i reccomemd you buy a longer range secendary like the navy gun

The dragoon also works well at slightly longer ranges than the sawed off because it has more ammo and has a nice spread, so it's good for gunning down horses

Flebsy don't use the Dragoon. Just do not. If you kill someone with it, that is a miracle.
Just get the navy, and get the mule.
The mule and the navy are the best guns in the game. Also the peacekeeper is really good even though it is the starter weapon.
