This video of Chillar Gyan gives a detailed insight of two common coins but having strange features and history associated with them. These are the two Big size 2 Rs coin with the theme of National Integration. It is very difficult to differentiate without giving a closer look on these coins as which of these coins is an Indian Commemorative Coin and which one is a Definitive coin. This is the most striking feature about these two 2 Rupee Coins.
The video tells you in detail that National Integration theme was designed in the year 1982 for the Commemorative issue of 2 Rs Coins and this 2 Rupees Old Coin of 1982 was the second 2 Rs Commemorative Coin of India. Post this, in the year 1990 similar coin was issued with same design but as a Definitive coin - 2 Rs Coin 1990. In nutshell, the date on these coins is the only way to differentiate between the two coins.

Yes you are correct that our videos are often long. Let me tell you few reasons for that:
1. First of all , there are many viewers throughout the TH-cam network. Some might be collectors like you who already have knowledge and some might be beginners who want to have some background of the coins for better understanding. So we try to make videos considering each and every one.
2. Secondly, we the coins we are showing in the video, we try to cover majority of aspects of the coins so that most of the aspects are touched because it is very difficult to make another video on same coins covering missing topics.
3. The utmost attention we take while scripting our content that we do not repeat any information in the video for making the video unnecessarily long. You can validate that in our videos that repetition is to minimum possible.

Wow great awesome information and knowledge. I have both the Rs 2 coins of 1982 and 1990 and 92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,2000,01,02,03 but I don't have 2004 .And thec50 Paise coin of National Integration.

And for your second query, No there was no 2 Rs coin issued in 1991. Smaller size 2 Rs coin on National Integration theme started form 1992 onwards.

Yes I had the information from net and other , but didn't know weather 1991 was there or not as the information in the net was blank on that year and which all mint made 2004 coins of Rs 2 National Integration.
Oh that's great. 2 Rs Definitive coin of 2004 was issued from Bombay, Calcutta and Hyderabad mints.

Sir 1982 k 2 rupes national interaction k coin ko sirf RBI ke bolne pr hi Kya hum isko commerative coin maan sakty hn kyunki 1990 k definite coin almost same hn.same pattern same size same weight sirf year ka difference hn or mint mark ka.
Kya sirf RBI ke bolne se hi hum in dono coins ko comm. Or definite manty hn ya iska koi reason h jese k 1982 k coin sirf 1982 m hi issue hua hn.

Hi Rohit, The Two Rs Definitive coin has also been minted by Foreign Mints and they are commonly available. I am trying to complete my collection of these coins mint and year wise. But, finding them is a difficult task.

You are correct. But as far as this video was concerned , here we majorly covered 1990 2 Rs Definitive coin and 1982 2 Rs. Commemorative Coin. i am from darjeeling. hlo rohit ji very nice information. i have two coin of 1990 there is two different numerals in year dei one is big type numerals n also heavy than another n another has small numerals n also light.please i would like to request to make a video on fifty paise definitive coins before 1982.
