I will be watching my grandkids, so my daughter and my son in law can come out to Rod Run this year. They are cool cars!! My favorite car has always been a 68 Camaro and I love a 72 Chevrolet short bed truck. A lot of those cars and trucks brought back a lot of memories for me. From 1970's and back I think my dad had every kind of car that was ever made or at least it felt that way. He was a mechanic and he was forever trading cars with someone. Haha 😄🤪 Thank you Will & Dawn for sharing this cool video. Stay safe and have a fun weekend!! 😊👍
Used to go to the different car shows growing up. A friend of mine used to take me with him and describe all the cars that he used to see. Your video description was great. It was wonderful to sit here and listen to you describe the different cars that you were seeing. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Thanks for sharing this video. This is the first year in 30 years that we’ve had to miss Shades of the past but we’ll be there next weekend for the Rod Run. Our first time for that. Looking forward to more videos this week.
My wife and I have been to shades of the past rod run about 5 times, drove our 46 Chevy coupe, absolutely loved it ! But m/s & 90% mobility gone in my legs gone I haven't been in 15 years or so ! Loved pigeon forge & Gatlinburg ! Have fun folks, wish I was there !
Hi Will and Dawn. My favorite antique car is a 1940 Ford Coupe (old moonshine cars). Late 30's to early 40's are great. I love the trucks from that Era as well. We enjoy your videos. Take care and stay safe.
fun times looking at all those old cars/trucks. always enjoy these videos you guys do. looks like a great day for it. i will be down the 15th cannot wait! keep up the great work!
Hey there will and Dawn thanks for taking me along on the sneak preview of the rod run I will be there Thursday night through Sunday maybe I will run into y'all would love to meet you till next video guys take care God bless
I had a 70 chevelle back in 1986 put a 400 small block moter in it I drag raced all over the place had fun I enjoyed looking at all those old cars at the Rod Run brings back memories
Man wish we could have gone this year! My parents went as young adults and started taking me up there when i was in elementary school! Prices keep getting higher and higher with the hotels. And planning my wedding in october kinda put a damper on going up this year :( i miss it so much, yall have a blast for me and stay safe!!!
Will and Dawn, really enjoyed your vlog! Love seeing old cars and my sister in law Judy back in the mid 70's had an orange pinto and my brother Bobby had a blue one. She's no longer my sister in law. That gold trans am is beautiful! Thank you for taking me along with y'all!
Hi caravision, my sister had a Brite yellow pinto. My girlfriend had a poop colored pinto. We called it poop pinto lol. I had a maroon colored pinto. We had such great times in our pinto 😆 🤣.
Saw some yesterday ( Monday) as we drove through Pigeon Forge. Most of course were covered up to protect from the rain. Can’t wait to see your videos as I’m going to west Tennessee to visit my oldest son and family. Be safe thanks for sharing. God bless.
Really enjoyed the video . I really do appreciate you giving us the prices too . Ain't much on chevelles and Camaros but I really love them classic cars . Saw that 36 Ford and a white 56 Buick love them . Thanks Will and Dawn well done as usual .
I ❤️ that mini firetruck. Y'all were smart and missed the heavy crowds. Beautiful cars. Dawn do you have those matching hats made special? You always look so cute. Will, you definitely know your cars. P.S. City should consider shuttle svs from major parking area.
wow so cool my dad mom they drive chevy pickup also oldsmobile 88 good cars pickups my aunt have a black i think it was ford 1948 or so have for like till 80's i think i forgot ty for video
I saw you all at Peter's Pancakes in Cherokee and it was closed. It closes every Wednesday and is closed after 2 every day. I hope you get a chance to eat there. It is very good. We are from Kentucky and eat there every time we are in Cherokee
Great video, thanks for sharing! Are there many vintage car collectors in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area or do most of the car collectors drive into Pigeon Forge from around the country? We plan to be in the area the last week of October. Always love visiting Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! 🇺🇲🚜👍
Will,. On my way up 81, I saw a Mustang, I guessed 66, but another driver on the CB said 65, so I'm not sure; but it was headed South, and it was on the shoulder with the engine was on fire!!😵💫 I'm guessing it was on the way there. So sad. 😥.
These old cars are in better road condition than these brand-new ones with all the wingdings and gadgets. All these new vehicles with the bells and whistles are in more accidents because the drivers do not pay attention.
Been loving the rod run videos for a few years now!
Love the old cars. Thanks for taking us along. Keep up the good work 👏
Thank you so much watching from the sidelines
