I'm a pretty firm believer that animals recognize human faces (I've been stared down right in the eyes too many times to think otherwise), so I'm in favor of anything that obscures your human-looking face. I don't know what sunglasses would register as in an animal brain, but I do know that I like having a face mask or at least a low-pulled-down hat on for close-up encounters. - Jake
Areolight vs Cirque - any debate on them? Both are solid but which has the longevity? I worry about the face fabric of the Cirque. Appears to be like Kuiu Kenai which I destroyed pretty quickly.
Hey Craig, I think you will find both jackets to be far more durable than the Kuiu Kenai. I also found that the new version of the Kenai Jacket fell apart immediately. It is still one of my favorite pieces of insulation due to the quietness and breathability, but if you're looking for durability I think the Cirque and Aerolite will be much better. The Cirque does feel a little thicker/warmer/less breathable? Than the Aerolite but I have not used the Cirque before. Hope this helps - Brady

Fellas - this was an awesome piece of reporting. I have been away from hunting for a few years and just getting back into it. Great help, your reviews are great. I didn't even know you sold gear on your home website. What a great morning!
It’s very interesting to lear what different people are talking bear hunting this spring
