      Mr. Lockout & Tow There is a current, it would be too fast to swim against and he would be swept underneath the bridge.

    They saved this man's life! News reporters have been out here saving lives all day long with little sleep, away from home. There are no words to describe the city's gratitude towards them ❤️

      amber petals sorry to hear that :/ I've been watching the news since Saturday and they've been nothing but helpful to those at home and those stuck in the water. I saw a reporter almost break down at the GRB. They're under great stress so I'd also try to be a bit considerate.

      TheBlindGuy80 So many of these news folks of Houston have put REAL back into news. Damn good work!!! They should teach CNN MSNBC how to be journalist instead of shills for their whacked agenda.

    I just want to say thank you my dad is a truck driver and he had to drive in this weather in Texas with all the flooding and tornados he is now safely home. That truck driver probably has a family very thankful to have the trucker home thank you so much and I hope everyone in Texas is doing well and is still kicking

      BlueHen123 no...the rescue crew and that women did. Give God credit, but don't take it away from the human beings that risked their lives to save that man. I'm not saying God helped or not - but we see those people doing the helping - in a way you can say God caused the flooding. Should we blame God? No, of course not. But the same can be true for giving him thanks.

    • @MrWolfSnack
      @MrWolfSnack 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      When there's no power, the pumps won't work at all unless you dismantle them and manually crank the pumping mechanism inside the pump to bring the gas up out of the holding tanks, assuming water has not breached them.

    I watched this live and then the TV station lost its signal and we didn't get the chance to see the sheriff rescue the guy. The network lost its signal due to the water coming into the building. It took hours for them to make arrangements with other stations to get back on the air but I don't know what happened to the truck driver because there was just too much other things going on with people with this catastrophic monster storm.

    why doesn't the truck drive roll down the window and climb to the top of the truck before water starts coming in. I mean thats the most logical thing to do than wait for the water to come in right?!?!?!
