With all your superb camera work, time lapse and incredible eye for a great shot you should get yourself a drone. That would save your legs n feet from going up and down by foot. Loving these amazing, incredible videos thank you so much!
For sure, incoming water is usually much later than the tide book too as it gets held up on Bideford Bar for around 1 hour, it comes through when it chooses, then the rise is pushed into a much shorter time window.

Its only dangerous if you don't understand the movement of the water, or where it can go, I feel a lot more vulnerable cycling around my local town.

Great video well done, you certainly need to get your tide timings right to reach it and get back safely.
