what is admirable about this is the manifestation of how calm and respectful he remained despite all the fiasco that they have been through on their way to the philippines. it is evident that he has a grateful heart, which obviously trickled to the members of rhe family, to see the positive amidst all the obstacle they encountered.
True.. and I admire his humility and patience apart from his calmness over the situation.. Kudos to you for having raised a good family. Blessings!!! 🥰
So sorry to hear about your experience. You’re not the only one. A friend of mine just traveled to the Philippines after Christmas via PAL from NYC and same thing happened to him.
MY CONCLUSION after watching d video is dat,,,,this man is very positive sa outlook sa buhay,,,mahabang pacenxa is with him,,,super galing ng video,,,,d details is perfect ,,,GOD BLESS u more sir,,,,sana all katlad mo na npka wide thinker and madaling mka move on,,,
Humility is truly a virtue. Panlasang Pinoy, you're a great source of inspiration to Filipinos... Your patience, humility, and positive attitude are one of a kind.
The best vlog overseas pinoy I've watched. Simple, walang halong kaplastikan , humble, modulated ang voice. . D nakakairita. Will surely be watching your next videos. Sad to say na whenever i go home, i also felt being uncomfortable with those things. Pati n rin yung processing of papers either sa immigration, banks or any other institutions. . . Tagal ng kilos and you have to really be on watch on how to deal well with the employees. Unlike sa country where i am now, ang bilis ng kilos ng mga employees and they treat everyone as VIP's. I do hate to compare but really can't just help to do it pag naka enkwentro k ng nakiki marites sa fon while working at alang balak magpakabilis sa trabaho. . . Not all naman cguro but still slow.
Calm siya, dahil may extra money siya para bumili ulit. Iba talaga pag may good income ka. Pwede m palagpasin mga ganyang pangyayari. Ganun talaga kahit saan may magnanakaw. Ingat nalang palagi...
You know watching you interact w the day’s delays inconveniences were impressive . You made your experience still enjoyable and non nerve wrecking. It’s shows side of your ‘easy going ‘ character, I always thought it’s better to be nice and communicative w others. Sometimes,T there are things beyond our control no matter how much planning we make. But when we change our perspective we are able to make something good out of the challenges. We always gained a good insight out of anything negative ! Awesome attitude so as the rest of your family. Well handed ❤
Seems it went downhill for services and all. It’s a lot of theft nowadays everywhere because there’s a lot of bad people. Beware!! That’s why I don’t trust anything. I make sure!
Had you report what happened to each companies that you flew, each company would have checked the cctv in each flight and might have found out hopefully where the theft happened.
FYI…”L” is silent in Salmon…very common error with Filipinos. Next time, hide an AirTag in a few items so you can track who stole the items. Highly recommend watching this in 1.25 speed.
Most Filipinos - take note “most Filipinos” - when talking in Tagalog would pronounce “salmon” with the “L” sounded. It’s NOT a “very common error” as you “mistakenly concluded” in your comment. This blogger is talking in Tagalog, hence the “very common error” (NOT)! Curious why you DIDN’T COMMENT another “very common error”, as you say, of Filipinos, the way he pronounced “lettuce” & “canapés”. Your sense of hearing “MISSED” them, did you?! Again, it’s NOT a “very common error” of Filipinos! 😊
Nakakalungkot at the same time makakapulutan ng aral ang experience nyo. Sobrang nakakamangha ang pagiging kalmado ng buong family nila at positive pa rin all throughout the travel.
I love how you and your family remained calm the entire time. The experience is horrible and yet, you still choose to look at the good ones. I wish all the craziness and issues was eventually resolved and that you guys were compensated for all the hassle.
I admire your positive and diplomatic attitude as well as your patience, sir Vanjo. Very humble pa. I wish you all the best and your family. God bless po.
The best ang attitude mo towards the unfortunate event that happened during your flight. God bless you and your family. Stealing from luggage is not new. I remember, a relative of my brother-in-law came from US after 25 years. Unfortunately she lost a lot of items from her flight as well. We hope that this time with your influence, they will address this issue and make the balik bayan experience a hassle-free and we can be proud of our heritage.
I admire you and your family's patience and consideration and as a fellow balikbayan, I am frustrated and upset for you all. It takes so much effort, money, and love to go home. I'm sorry that these things happened on your trip home but glad you were all able to get there safely
Sir, youre such a positive and humble, calm person. You’ll be blessed more in some other ways. Continue to be an inspiration of kindness , positivity and humility.
I admire how chill and cool you are considering the bad situation. I think if it's me, I may be shouting already and already on a scary temper. I wouldn't be able to control my anger.
What a cool guy. He's so calm. We all know that if satin nangyari to nagwawala na talaga ako. But dammmmnnnnnnn he's so positive with all the things happened to them.
My first time to witness such calmness, no anger at all from both husband (Panlasang Pinoy) and wife despite such unfortunate and unforgettable experience, you truly are both match made in heaven. We can all learn from you, thank you so much for sharing this lesson in life. I remember my mom she would say when she was still with us… if you lose things be grateful you can replace them, be thankful for your health.
Most residing in the USA are calm people, perhaps it has something to do with the culture/ practice of human decency, or it has something to do with a comfortable life ? I watched Raffy Tulfo show and I find couples yelling, throwing dirt to each other is very disturbing. I guess here in the USA suing is a trigger.and that cost money( I'll see you in Court !). So we are an actors of compassion, courtesy, and politeness so we Won't offend people. Have a nice day.

Salute you Sir for being so patient.Kahit you and youre family have a bad experienced on youre flight to Phil. still napaka optimistic mo at mostly highlighted ung good things kesa sa mga bad .Keepsafe always
Ang bait ng family mo panlasang pinoy. God will bring back all na nawala sa inyo. It happens everywhere. Meron din ako napanood sa news a pinoy couple nagbakasyon sa Madrid then proceed to marchaille, in France, nag shopping sila sa Madrid ng mga branded items, coming to marchaille wala Nang laman mga suitcases Nila. And that happened in Europe. Am a subscriber of your panlasang pinoy...
Ang bait ng family nyo po. Nakakalungkot mga bad experiences nyo papunta palang ng Pilipinas at the start of your vacation. Nakita ko ang mahabang pasensya ng family nyo. Thanks for the awareness. God bless u and ur family more.
I've never had one good experience with PAL. I go out of my way to avoid them, but because PAL is the name carrier of the Philippines, every few years or so, I do fly with them to give them a chance, to support them, and to see if anything has improved. Unfortunately, every single time I've flown with them, it's always a bad experience. I'm really hoping that they improve in the near future, but after our recent experience with them in December, I'd probably avoid them until I hear of any improvement. I've written their corporate before, but I felt that I wasn't heard and was just ignored. I'm hoping that this video and the comments within it can reach their corporate, so they can address the many issues surrounding their company. If we want improvement, hindi pwede bahala na, or okay lang yan. The more voices who speaks up, the better they will hear us.
Every single time you fly Pal it's always a bad experience?? Malas mo naman, sa dami ng lumilipad sa Pal, ikaw every time lilipad ka with Pal e puro bad experience talaga?
@@kM-gs6zv yup that's been my experience and I'm not the only one. Most people I know, just like the family in this video, are very forgiving. However, that's my experience and the people I know. I'd love to hear your experience, but I sense some sarcasm coming from you, so you're probably just replying to try to discredit my experience. I don't understand why you would and why it would offend you that we want PAL to be better, but hey, you do you.
isang beses lang ako sumakay ng PAL at yun ay short flight lang only because ang piloto is a family friend at inupgrade kame from economy to business class.
Bad things happen to good people most of the time because they can handle it. Coz if it was given to somebody else who cant cope, it would spread with a lot hate.
You’re a better man than I am. I thought I was a patient man but you broke the mold on being the most positive person in the world. Nice to know that there is still hope and faith in humanity. When we went to visit I box it with home depot box and tape it all over so it’s hard to open it. Thank goddess it wasn’t open and all our pasalobong was safe . Cudos to you and your family
I like the way you tried to be POSITVE in spite of your BAD experience going home to the Philippines. I can assure you that the things your family lost did not happen in Chicago or in San Francisco. Did you remember that you said you waited for about one and a half hours before the carousel started to move in the NAIA. That was the time the pinoy's started to open the luggages. They have special keys prepared for all kinds of luggages. Why don't you ask why they don't put CCTV's around those areas where the luggages were stocked after they were brought from the plane. I hate to say this but it is our "kababayans" who are stealing things at the airport. I have several friends who did lost a lot of things there. Personally I lost several shirts that was for my relatives but they never received it. We checked the post office here in Bloomingdale, Illinois and they said it arrived in the Philippines but from there they can't go on to find out how things are. I also lost the medicines I sent to my brother. Again the post office here said they tract it and it got to the Philippines too. TRUTH hurts, I know. But we have to accept that the people working in that airport were the same people who were doing these things. Next time, guys try to put DUCK TAPES around you luggage aside from the lock. The duck tapes when it is tampered can show sign of it. A lot of duck tapes will discourage them to open the luggage. Watching from Illinois USA; 02-17-2023. 🕓AM 😎👍👍👍
While visiting in the Philippines I told the postman that I was expecting some important mail from the U.S. embassy in Manila. He said he would check at home where he was holding on to piles of undelivered mail. A few pesos and a day later the mail was delivered to me.
I agree. And if it was inspected in the US by customs, they usually taped it with their own tape with US customs printed on it like the one time it happened to me but nothing was missing. I also suspect the theft happened in Manila that's why it took a long time for their luggages to come out! The airport should have surveillance cameras inside the baggage holding areas after deplaning. It's a simple solution but maybe the airport admin is in on it, corruption is rampant in the Philippines. Good idea on the duct tapes!
You were able to narrate your experiences in a very picturesque, very detail, quite technicolor and punong-puno ng action, suspense and yeah... moral lesson. Happy New Year to everyon in your family. Beauty pala si Ma'm and your kids, cute and adorable.
I respect how calm you are It’s so sad to hear that you even lost some pasalubong ☹️ Grabe I would be so frustrated. I hope you had a good Christimas with your love ones !

Well, it happened also to my husband. He went back to the Philippines year 2017, it was direct flight from Lax to NAIA..He was excited to see my daughter and some relatives and he didn’t notice that his luggage was already opened.. Then ,he decided to open the the luggage to give some pasalubong for the kids (chocolate),he saw the padlock was already opened. He lost the 2 tablets, electric razor, brand new polo shirts, even his used underwear. According to my source, the CCTV before the luggages bring to the area where the carousel is not working. Good things,we sent some of his belongings through Atlas
WHAT A CLASSY HUMAN BEING! You and your family sir are the epitome of a”CLASS ACT”. What a classy and real influencer you are! Sana lahat sir katulad nyo! Maraming maraming salamat po and praise God for your very kind heart!
Thanks for the warning. I flew with PAL in the 80's till early 90's meron na balita sa mga missing items sa mga maleta. Never flew with PAL again after that. Di bale na may stop over sa Japan or Korea yung ibang airlines na nasakyan ko, mas ayos ang service at feel safe kami. Pero pag darating sa Pinas at paalis kana, sablay ang airport natin. 😁
Your patience and understanding are brilliant. Such a calm and collected person. Your vlog was humorous (the food galore part) and inspiring. Sorry about the inconveniences and the frustrations you and your family experienced during your flight especially the luggage issue. That's why we invested in zipperless luggage for added security.
I know a lot of people who will lose their cool kapag nasa ganyang situation. Either sisigawan or magagalit sa mga staff pero you handled it so well. Sobrang bait mo po. You're really an influencer sir. Sana may separate kang channel for vlogs sobrang soothing yung voice mo❤️
You are very kind and a very good example to your kids. I’m not sure if I will be as calm as you with everything that happened. I’m really sorry these all happened to you. But your positive spirit and kindness will bring more blessings to your life - more grace will come to you. Your children are lucky to have you. I’m a frequent traveler and had a bad experience with Philippine Airlines in the past. So I never fly them anymore. It’s really sad because I prefer to support everything Filipino. Anyway, my point is, you remind me to try to be kind when bad things happen to me. So thank you. It’s nice to be important but more important to be nice. 😀
Napakahumble, for somebody who’s been in the US for a while. Am not saying in general pero madame Pinoy na nangibang bansa lang, akala mo nakalimutan na ang pagiging Filipino and looks down on our country especially kapag nakaranas ng ganitong mishap. Pero masarap maging Pinoy kapag may mga tao gaya ni Kuya na sobrang humble and proud despite all the inconveniences and bad experience he had in our country. I’m a US citizen na, but anywhere I go, proud Pinoy pa din. And I looked up to you Kuya! Salute.
Whatever happened to your kitchen, I'm sure there will be a new and better version coming up soon. For now, hope you and your family find enough time to rest and recuperate. Baka lang po sir blessing in disguise rin to para makapahinga kayo. Hello Chef! Thanks for sharing your experience. It is indeed a good lesson for everyone who will be travelling to be aware of what to put in their luggages. By the way, I simply admire your calm attitude, decent and still poised even though problems were coming. Such a good role model. I was also a victim also prior times...but not like yours but simply while I was vacationing with my husband and my passport and cash were stolen in our hotel room. The hotel manager was very accomodating. He did helped us thoroughly. Only the hassle of processibg the passport and my visa were so much stress...But in the end, the problem was also remedied.
He's a very kind person. I asked him (at the Boracay Airport) for a quick picture together and never hesitate give one 🙂. It just sadden me what your family gone through during this vacation. God bless you Sir
Thanks for translating , I was really interested in what you had to say . Your kids have no idea how lucky they are to fly business class , I first flew business class when I turned 55.
I will definitely share this video to friends at LTGC who owns PAL. I admire your patience throughout the entire flight and thank you for sharing to the whole world your experiences... Safe travels and more blogs from you. God bless

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us !! I think the best way is not bring any valuables ,just shop in the Philippines for gifts and expensive stuff should be on carry on bags …so sorry for your bad experience.Lesson learned don’t fly PAL
sa pinas nangyari yan. dahil naghintay sila ng hour and a half for their belongings. ingat na lang pag uwi ng pinas, dahil kapwa pinoy ang nanakawan ka.
Kaya minsan mas mabuti talagang private person kalang kesa makita name o identity mo sa bagahe mo may nagkaka interes tuloy lalo na kayo more than a decade bago kayo nakabalik sa pinas, naturalmente alam nilang may mga pasalubong yan, kaya mas better talaga pag insured ang bagahe mo talga sa panahon ngayon. Nangyari sakin naman nasira ang gulong ng luggage ko,ni report ko agad habang nasa loob me ng NAIA, sooner or later binayaran nila ang halaga ng luggage ko after imbestigation.
Watched your whole video and admired your being so calm with self control all the time in spite of the odds you experienced in your travel. I did feel how you felt and God bless you for your patience and how you handled the situations and forgiveness. I do watch your Panlasang Pilipino videos as well and thanks a lot for your help in some of the recipes.
Hi Vanjo - great video! I just retired after working for a leading conglomerate for over 33y. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to travel around Asia as part of my business development work. Unfortunately I had my own share of bad trips. I was also a victim of theft. To be honest it is not a coincidence that NAIA and PAL are not rated positively due to very poor service. We tend to accept excuses especially if the NAIA or PAL staff will say: "Pasensya na Sir". This is unacceptable especially when you worked hard to pay for the tickets; you and your family deserve appropriate level of service. NAIA should install CCTV for all outgoing and incoming luggages so customers can monitor how these are being handled (or mishandled or worse being opened where your/our valuables are stolen). This is basic management practice which we should demand from Government.
Loved how Panlasang Pinoy handled this situation with humility and gracre. However, ensuring the basic amenities of aircrafts especially if you paid business class because of comfort need a lot of improvement.
We jokingly call it PALpak airlines. Never flying with them. We always had bad experience every time we take PAL. The only reason we took PAL because of the direct flight. Now we dont mind doing connecting flights.
Wow...grabe pala ang nangyari sa inyo Chef specially about your pasalubongs😔 This is an eye opener. Thank you for staying positive. You're an inspiration🙏
Thank you for sharing your adventures. It’s discouraging going home knowing that your stuff can be stolen. So sorry this happened to you and your family.
If I may suggest a tip, take photos and an inventory of the things inside each luggage BEFORE any future trip. Tapos need to really check the luggage after one gets the thing. Email the airline as well.
From start to finish pinanuod ko po tlaga..nalungkot, nagalit, at natuwa..hehe dami ko pong natutunan sa inyo..hindi lang sa pagluluto..pati po paano ihandle mga ganyang sitwasyon..God bless and more blessing po sir Vanjo and to your family..🙏😘
This is soo painful to watch but thank you for putting the video together and still brought positivity to all of us! Patience ia indeed a virtue! A lot of people does not realize that we have to save up to come home, we don’t buy the pasalubongs just like that!I personally wait for all the big sale events like Black Friday and such just so my family can have better gifts without breaking my bank! We look forward to making our family happy and it sometimes takes us a decade to go back home! The situation where the trays, temotes and headphones were unacceptable but you are so kind and humble! Business flights aren’t cheap! We paid for comfort and saved up for a long time to get those tickets! They knew first hand which plane you will be flying so a courtesy email would be great unless it barely broke. The business flights are expensive for a reason,We could have taken the basic fare if that was the case! The stealing is really sad but you thought us alot of things in this video,to be humble,to be patient especially whenyou were explaining it to your daughter and to be forgiving! Thank you!I hope your next trip home will have a better experience!I really admire your humility!
I always watch his cooking videos pero mas tumaas yun bilib ko sa kanya. You can see on this video how calm and kind he is kahit maraming hnd magandang nangyari. Very humble. Im sure that God will bless you and your family more. 😊
Chef , you’re one in a million ! To act cool , patient , with still a courage to smile and to understand the problems causing so much inconvenience PAL is causing you and family is so “saintly “ . You’re the superman of maximum strength of tolerance. You even had the knack to enjoy the stuff that were served . A true champion of self control !!! WOW !!!
I watch your videos whenever i cook my own food. But with this one, i learned a better lesson from you. The way you handled everything, you taught me how to become a dad and a model to my future kids. Astig!
Having their direct flight schedule from NYC to Manila and back is the only reason why I fly PAL. I have never been stolen from my luggages but I heard this had happened to anybody, any airline, anywhere. Travel tips, mix up your gift items with clothes, toiletries, etc in one luggage. I would remove the gift from the original box and wrap them with old clothing and plastic grocery bags. For any pair of shoes, especially the expensive ones, remove them from the box and put one pair to one of the luggages and the other pair to another luggage. I can’t stand hearing this kind of travel experiences especially to a nice family like you. ❤
I watched the entire video and so sorry to hear that a lot of mishaps happened on your most anticipated vacation sa pinas, but the worst is the fact that some airport personnel take things from passengers' luggage. That's really upsetting. Thank you for vlogging about this. Certainly, it makes us aware of the situation. I'm glad you and your family still had a nice vacation considering all circumstances, and the positives outweigh the negatives.
Dapat isara na yang Airport na yan. Sana madaliin ang Int. Airport sa Bulacan para maisara na yan. Kahit ako may masamang karanasan dyan sa Immigration dyan.
Way to keep your cool and staying positive. It’s unfortunate the theft happened and I sure hope the airlines will take the necessary actions to prevent these things happening in the future.
God will continue to bless you and your family. You are a good man with great humble heart. High respect from me. Your virtue and value cannot be taken away from you. You will continue to blessed.
I'm sorry you and your family had to go through this. No one deserves this kind of treatment. And to whoever stole your items - what goes around comes around. God bless you and your family.
i admire you how to handled that situation sir, pero grabi kc pag sakin or samin nangyari cgro ako mahhiblood na.. hehe.. at kng sino man po kumuha ng gmit for sure di cya masaya, bka ma karma pa cya, ofw dn po ako, lahat ng pasalubong pinaghirapan, pinagpawisan yan..nkkalungkot lg kc parang bumablik n namn ang nakawan sa airport..hays.. but atleast po sir na enjoy nyo ang vacation nyo sa phils. goodluck po sa inyo, Im your avid fan pagdating po sa luto.. dami ko po nattunan.😊
Learning lesson. My partner and I always traveled. And anything that we knew was worth something we always carry it in our roller bag. Send the money or buy it in Manila when u arrive. Good luck on your next trip.
I appreciate your thoughtful comments and this vlog presentation. Thank you for making us part of your journey and the series of unfortunate events that trnspired. However the silver lining at the end is your optimism and broad perspective on how to manage each situation with a sound mind and calm demeanor despite the many challenges you faced. Kudos to you and your Fam! safe travels !
You can file a claim with the airlines to reimburse you for your lost luggage and stolen items. Whenever you travel, always itemize the things in your suitcases with the value. That way you have proof when you file your claim, pictures of the items is always good too. Have them in your phone. I had a list placed in my balikbayan boxes so the customs people can check them. That is always helpful.
Grabe! But kudos for being so patient and calm, especially at the airport. I just traveled round-trip with on PAL last September. Haven't used PAL in years but because they have direct flight from L.A. I thought it'll be very convenient. Although nothing was stolen from me nor my husband's, but just checking in our luggage was already a hustle, especially for disabled passengers. Coming back to the US, they overbooked the flight and also changed the plane to a smaller plane that, first our assigned seat was changed (I specifically opted for a window seat) and no first class or business class (although they offered mileage reimbursement), and instead I was assigned in the middle aisle seat. Also, instead of a direct flight, we had to stop over in South Korea to refuel ( the main reason we booked PAL was to avoid any stopovers), also our flight was delayed. After this experiences, we vowed not to travel with PAL anymore. Good thing the flight attendants were great and made our flights bearable. You're very patient in dealing with your issues with the airline and the stealing of your stuff. Glad you had a great vacation and sorry for what happened to you when you got back- whatever it was, though I'm guessing not good if you're forced to staying in a hotel. Hope all will be well.
Ngayon ko lang napanood ang bad experience nyo last year pauwi ng Pinas. Pero nakita ko naman ang saya nyo sa pagpunta sa Palawan. God bless you and your family. More power to you.

Sorry to hear all the inconveniences that happened to you and to your family especially the stolen items from your baggage, the important thing is you arrived safe enjoying the company of your loved ones.
Salute to you Sir Vanjo. The way you calmly handled the challenges was truly amazing - a very good example to everyone, especially your kids. More blessings always to your family and your channel!
Hearing your experience is something to think about the airline and the airport. I had my own experience when my first flight going abroad. On my second fight back to the Philippines I tried another airline and found the difference about their services and since then I never flew with PAL. I flew with PAN AM, CHINA AIRLINE, DELTA AIRLINE, HAWAIIAN AIRLINE, AND UNITED AIRLINES . I flew Pal on domestic flight but never fly with them to other country since that first experience
Smart move. A friend of mine lost some valuable art objects while flying Hawaiian Airlines. The airline compensated them for their loss. Soon after HAL caught the crooks; a few of their own employees.
Whatever not good things happen, I know God will return it all . What’s more important is u all arrived safe and spent your Christmas with your love ones . Truly God is in your heart Kse sa Dami ng Di magandang nangyari Napaka composed at patient nyo pa ring mag asawa . God Bless you and your Family . I’m a big fan of Panlasang Pinoy 🙏❤️
Your patience is really commendable. For others, they will be hysterical. But you handled it perfectly. With positive attitude and humility, this makes you a great example of how to handle situations like this. Kudos Banjo.

@@ketojoejones5634 Accepting these kinds of situation is part of the problem. Everybody in the whole wide world should know how these thieves work. The Philippine government should setup a complaints counter. PAL here in the US should mitigate the problem by having passengers open their luggage before checking them in and take a picture of the contents. Those items, upon arriving in Manila, should be inventoried by the passengers. Passengers should check their luggage right after getting them off the carousel. If there's theft, file a complaint with PAL, and they should reimburse the passengers whose luggage got pilfered. United Airlines does that. When your luggage gets stolen, you can identify all the contents with their monetary value and they will reimburse you. Pasensiyahan should not be the norm.
Same thing happened to my youngest brother and our nephew. PAL flight from San Francisco to Manila. When they arrived home, they found out a lot of their things are missing including their pasalubong and even the pair of rubber shoes na padala.
I am glad Filipino viewers took this experience in an empathetic and respectful manner. If he is a foreigner sharing this kind of experience in the Philippines, he will be mocked, condemned, and banned to go back. I hope filipinos are able to grasp this kind of stories in an open minded and educated form of thinking. Without bias and double standards.
i’m pretty sure this thing happened in the ph since we had a similar experience before. it was from us to ph with a layover in japan. before leaving japan i saw our luggage in a good condition but when i got them at ph, it was broken and opened as well. that’s why i put luggage covers and put sturdy locks! and try to cover everything inside just to be safe again!

OMG, I am so sorry what happened to you but I’m also proud how you handled every situations you had on your travel. It just shows how educated you are. Thumbs up to you. 👍👍👍
I would say that if your luggage do not come out right away from the carousel ,you should suspected something fishy going around . This is the time they are dissecting your luggage . Tricky in deed , because they can open your luggage so well through the zipper without any trace of suspicion that most valuables gad already been looted . Philippines is known for this . This cannot be done in SFO because of the cameras which cannot be altered by the inside looters . Filipino employees in the Airport can do this z Since Airport Authorities are aware of this scenario why can't they do something to safeguard the thousands of daily passengers getting in and out of Airports area of responsibility . Remember more than an hour for luggages not coming out from the carousel should be a red flag for everyone to ponder . Don' go in a hurry . Open your luggages while i inside the Airport .

You have my respect Sir for being so well mannered.
I like the way you tried to be POSITVE in spite of your BAD experience going home to the Philippines. I can assure you that the things your family lost did not happen in
Chicago or in San Francisco. Did you remember that you said you waited for about one and a half hours before the carousel started to move in the NAIA. That was the time
the pinoy's started to open the luggages. They have special keys prepared for all kinds of luggages. Why don't you ask why they don't put CCTV's around those areas where
the luggages were stocked after they were brought from the plane. I hate to say this but it is our "kababayans" who are stealing things at the airport. I have several friends who did
lost a lot of things there. Personally I lost several shirts that was for my relatives but they never received it. We checked the post office here in Bloomingdale, Illinois and they
said it arrived in the Philippines but from there they can't go on to find out how things are. I also lost the medicines I sent to my brother. Again the post office here said they tract
it and it got to the Philippines too. TRUTH hurts, I know. But we have to accept that the people working in that airport were the same people who were doing these things. Next time,
guys try to put DUCK TAPES around you luggage aside from the lock. The duck tapes when it is tampered can show sign of it. A lot of duck tapes will discourage them to open the
luggage.

Better to fly in to Clark na lang

Astig!
Mabuti na lang napaka COOL ng familyang ito...thank you so much kabayan💕💓💞 God Bless you all🙏
Alam mo talaga pag may class yung tao eh. The way makipag-usap at i-handle yung situation or challenges. Kudos to you sir! Been a fan as always!
Had a good idea 🙋🫡👍
that's a good idea para hindi paginteresan ang mga sapatos...
This is the Real Rich Man..very humble..Love it.
Napaka humble at simple ni Sir Vanjo at mabait pa. 🙏
Scammer!!!!
Thank you for sharing! I really admire your patience and positive attitude to all the mishap you experienced during your trip to the Philippines!
I like your attitude, super calm and hinde nasira ng bad situations yung reasons and the feelings of the season....good job!
I'm sorry you and your family had to go through this. No one deserves this kind of treatment. And to whoever stole your items - what goes around comes around. God bless you and your family.
Nakakalungkot at nakaka frustrate! Sana bumalik sa inyo yung mga kinuha sa inyo. Ibang aspeto man o sa ibang paraan ♥️
i admire you how to handled that situation sir, pero grabi kc pag sakin or samin nangyari cgro ako mahhiblood na.. hehe.. at kng sino man po kumuha ng gmit for sure di cya masaya, bka ma karma pa cya, ofw dn po ako, lahat ng pasalubong pinaghirapan, pinagpawisan yan..nkkalungkot lg kc parang bumablik n namn ang nakawan sa airport..hays.. but atleast po sir na enjoy nyo ang vacation nyo sa phils. goodluck po sa inyo, Im your avid fan pagdating po sa luto.. dami ko po nattunan.😊
Ano ba yan!!!! Uwi ako sa pinas, ZIPLOCK ang lahat lagayan ko believe me...
I’m sorry to hear of all your family’s travel mishaps. It’s so nice that you have such a positive and calming demeanor ; so inspirational. Your voice in addition is so soothing; you give your audience a very positive outlook . Thank you for a positive and appeasing viewing experience.
Maganda pala magbusiness class maauunos oras sa kakain malilibang ka talaga
Thank you for sharing your experiences. A lesson learned. Most importantly is the sweet memories with your family back in the Philippines.
Kudos Banjo.
buti sya may pambili kasi sya pamalit
sa nawala,, how about dun sa iba na nawalan, pinag iponan,, at wala nang pamalit pambili,, Im sure di rin ganyan ka calm and reaction,,,,
@@rodzmaja4841 i know some na normal ang pamumuhay pero nagagawa p nila magbiro if meron silang naencounter n misfortune. Coz they can't do anything but to.accept it 😀
@@ketojoejones5634 Accepting these kinds of situation is part of the problem.
@@ana-mariely7150 you have a point but it will also a big help if they have camera during loading and unloading coz that’s where theft start.
Bakit mo ito na-comment 🙄
@@levipierpont, i disagree
Bro, you know what to do next trip... Cover it by plastic wrapper.
So sorry that this happened to you. Thank you for sharing. I will make sure to secure my things when I go to the Philippines.
i’m pretty sure this thing happened in the ph since we had a similar experience before. it was from us to ph with a layover in japan. before leaving japan i saw our luggage in a good condition but when i got them at ph, it was broken and opened as well. that’s why i put luggage covers and put sturdy locks! and try to cover everything inside just to be safe again!
Nope! there's a lot of CCTV in the PH baggage area. that happen in America airport where they stay for 10 hours waiting time.
@@mr_pogi8812 in the us they leave a note if they opened your luggage. we also waited 9hrs in sfo that time, went to japan and luggages were fine ‘till we got them in naia and they were broken and opened 🥲
Share ko lang din from Japan to Phil lagi may nawawala sa baggage ng kapatid ko 🤦🏽♀️
@@mychild0000 well sa Japan siguro yan.
Thanks for the info of your travel. We learn a lot from your experience.
Wow!! I really admire your patience, calmnes and understanding. Even in the worst situation you showed how you handle the it with dignity and class. You’re an inspiration. Kung sa akin yan baka galit na galit na ako. Dugo at pawis ang pinambili ko ng mga pasalubong at for sure frustrated din pamilya ko sa pasalubong. Everytime I will get upset in a situation like this, ikaw ang magiging inspiration! Thank you. Kudos to you and your family. God bless!
Talaga 🙏🏽❤️✝️
I am sorry to hear about this inconvenience and the frustrations you experienced. Nevertheless, the travel, food served, and genuine smile, and happiness to be with your family again in the Phil give a new flavor to your channel. I never imagined watching this for 43 minutes without getting bored. I admire your positive attitude toward this kind of situation. Salute!😊
Lesson learned iwasang sumakay ng PAL-pak airlines.
THANK YOU , FOR LETTING ME KNOW YOUR EXPERIENCE I M NOT GOING TO PHILIPINES I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WHAT
YOU BEEN THROUGH
Grabeng palpak, bulok, nakakadismaya, once nanga lang magbakasyon kawawa naman, mabuti nalang good vibes si kuya, puro isip positive🙏🥰
sa europe kahit walsng padlock maleta , walang mawawala
OMG, I am so sorry what happened to you but I’m also proud how you handled every situations you had on your travel. It just shows how educated you are. Thumbs up to you. 👍👍👍
I would say that if your luggage do not come out right away from the carousel ,you should suspected something fishy going around . This is the time they are dissecting your luggage . Tricky in deed , because they can open your luggage so well through the zipper without any trace of suspicion that most valuables gad already been looted . Philippines is known for this . This cannot be done in SFO because of the cameras which cannot be altered by the inside looters . Filipino employees in the Airport can do this z
Since Airport Authorities are aware of this scenario why can't they do something to safeguard the thousands of daily passengers getting in and out of Airports area of responsibility .
Remember more than an hour for luggages not coming out from the carousel should be a red flag for everyone to ponder . Don' go in a hurry . Open your luggages while i inside the Airport .
Remember NAIA got a lot of big crocodiles on the making . Why can't they catch them ? It's because King crocodiles connive with them
@@rizasotto2456 of course! You are right 👍
@@rizasotto2456 with that I will agree with you. Kakainis no? Kainis talaga. Noon tanim bala. Ngaun, hugot sa maleta.
Parang nakakatakot naman. Pero ang dami ko ngang nababalitaan na nawawalan ang gamit. Pinaghirapan ang mga pasalubong para maging happy ang love ones natin.
In a way parang thankful kami sa vlog nyo po. Kasi madami kayong followers chef at madaming magiging aware. Thank you chef. And grabe ang patience nyo. Salute ❤.
Vanjo-- i admire your coolness and positivity throughout your journey. I hope you did take travel insurance to compensate any losses you have in this trip.
I am amazed how you handled this situation, you are very humble kahit sobrang successful ka at living ovearseas. Good job sir!
Thank you for sharing. I'll be more careful traveling to the Philippines. It's really not the first time I've heard of such things happening to visiting Filipinos. By the way, thanks as well for your regular posts ... I get a lot of tips cooking.
Flying home on Monday... omg. I will picture everything & take all the reciepts.
