Yuno is definitely not one of my favorite characters but this is an entire different dissussion. I do see your point though. His role in Spade Saga was "okay" for me since he had a completely personal stake with Zenon who resolted in his foil and another stepping stone. Even if his saint stage couldn't phase through he did it right with being supportive. I think the last arc set his conclusion for the series. The remaining Spade Kingdom citizens will ask him to take on his birthday right.
