When I was an eight-year-old child we had a psychological examination. The psychologist lady asked me questions about what gender I would prefer to be. Without thinking, I answered that I would rather be a girl. She asked why? I replied: “because girls are always easier”. As a child I still did not understand how the world was. I was convinced that boys were discriminated against because it's just the way the world is and it has to be that way. Girls had their holidays and boys did not. Because eventually a holiday was established for boys and so no one respects it. Boys must always give way to the savages, always serve them, must not respond to their aggression, more is demanded of boys, and concessions are always made to girls. We were taught that girls are always good and honest, and boys are always bad and guilty of all crimes and wars. We understood that this was not true, but we didn't care until we grew up and more and more toxic girls used this narrative to discriminate against us. However, we didn't protest until “leftist progressivism from Western countries” came to my country preaching gender equality and made us realize that it was something wrong to discriminate against other people based on gender. The problem is that this progressivism claimed that the victims of discrimination are the ones who discriminate, while the privileged sex is the wronged one.
I come from a post-communist country. As the name suggests, it is a country that has experienced the communist system. Communism as an economically inefficient system, while preaching equality in society, had to force women to work, but at the same time needed the support of women. Therefore, they feminized Eastern Bloc societies by giving women numerous legal and social privileges. It should also be remembered that women already had numerous privileges due to their fulfilling social role of bearing and raising children. If you ever wondered why there are so many opponents of gender equality and feminism among women in post-communist countries, it is because they are afraid of losing their privileged position in society. They have a much higher ratio of earnings to hours worked, they dominate the easier sectors of work, they dominate influential sectors of the labor market. On top of that, they often have numerous legal, pension and social privileges. Even all social campaigns focus on women and their health. Have you ever heard of a prostate cancer campaign? There are no such things, but there is a fight against breast cancer or cervical cancer at every turn. Even in public restrooms they have higher standards than men.
Why am I writing all this? Currently, the European Union consists of two blocs of countries with completely different historical and social experiences. Trying to create a single model towards all of these diverse nations will always do more harm than good, as communism taught us for 50 years. I don't know what effect this will have on post-communist societies, which have already gone through all these leftist social experiments once. Possibly none, because, as I've written before, women are afraid that men will rebel and women will lose their privileges, while men are afraid that they will be discriminated against even more. I think, however, that in Western Europe the consequences could be much more serious, because such action destroys male-female relations, which leads to social frustration. The power of Islam is growing in these countries, so it seems a matter of time when young men who will be discriminated against on the basis of gender and religion will simply choose Islam and help introduce sharia law in their countries to advance socially.
Mutual respect is very important, and it is important not to limit other people just because we have assigned them to a certain social group. However, it is also important to remember that women and men are different and have evolved in such a way that they can complement each other and be stronger together than apart. Gender discrimination and attempts to dominate one's partner have always existed. The Bible itself touches on this issue when describing the relationship between Adam and Eve, and earlier also Lilith.
I wrote at the very beginning that as boys we were discriminated against, but we accepted it. We accepted it because we received respect in spite of it. So let's focus on respect and the fact that people are defined by many more things than just gender. Not every woman is suited to be a mother and not every man is suited to be a protector. If they can realize themselves in other areas then that is good, but if people are told chauvinism and the need to discriminate against someone as part of creating equality, it will lead us to great suffering.
I would rather not have my life arranged by people who are supporters of the most criminal system in human history, which is communism.
