Her split personality for her father is extremely unkind and berates her for almost everything, even her weight and looks. But a lot of Dr. Futterman's lines are also underlyingly sexual or very strange to say to his daughter, along with that his voicelines include several references to paedophilia. Calling the reagaents "chomo fucks" a slang word for a pedophile. You have to remember that it's Gooseberry saying this, so she might be projection her childhood trauma onto the reagents using the split personality of her father. Mother Gooseberry also has a third personality, one that embodies her fourteen year old self. This personality comes out rarely in voice lines from my experience but when it does, it is absolutely terrified of Dr. Futterman, speaking rarely and taking his berating to heart. This personality shift usually doesn't last long but it gives a lot of unsetteling context into their relationship.
Coyle is the most tragic figure in the Outlast franchise. Everybody he's ever loved ended up dead. I'm sure he had absolutely nothing to do with any of it though.
Another thing to note on the skinner man is theres a wallpaper in the game thats like children drawings on a blue wall and it depicts the skinner man a couple of times and refers to him as "the father" and there is one section by your bed that says "God is the skinner" Not sure if its fully related or if it means anything but its just an observation i made. We call the taller brutes Andre because of Andre the Giant, and we add adjectives based on which brute they are. The blind man is Blind Andre, then we got Weiner Andre (the one with no clothes), then we have female Andre, then Axe Andre. Ik very creative, but we made them up on sight, and they stuck ig. We call the hiding spot expop the locker hopper, too.

I love outlast, but the fact that it's now Multiplayer just doesn't sit right.... Feels like it's becoming like all other games and is losing what makes it phenomenal
Getting scared with your friends is fun. If you would have told me 5-6 years ago they were doing a multi-player outlast I probably would have felt the same, but the MK Ultra theme really fits multi-player, and I think it was a great choice for bringing the franchise back. I don't think it lost what makes it phenomenal. What makes it phenomenal is the fact that there is no punches pulled with the horror, its a bloody mess with nudity, supernatural undertones and extremely dark themes. That's what makes outlast what it is. And now you can experience it with friends, it's awesome.
I mean the game works absolutely fine as an Outlast game. Especially because you can play solo, it has a story, iconic characters, the night vision, the fucked up imagery and the horror. It's all very Outlast
