I feel sorrow in the beginning then a build up little by little, and then I feel courage, like a battle or a fight, then the build up continues, and I sense a like a "defeat", as the courageous one has defeated the bad one, but still in the end of song, I feel almost like a defeat but with death, I just love the "you" play this piece of music. The part from 1:37 is impossible for me to play with both hands... I can play each hands part separately, but not together.. It's hard for me to understand when does the left hand join in, since the song is fast paced at that part. Any tips?
+MisGrudge Listening over and over again is the key. When your brain knows what to anticipate, it will be easily for you (in time) to translate it to your hands. Your hands will just follow what's in your brain. Take a small part and play it with both hands for hours and hours until you get the rhythm. Build up slowly, connecting the parts that you've already mastered.
+MisGrudge Hey MisGrudge, I'm sure you are able already to play this, aren't you? :) If not - believe me, you can handle it. I'm an amateur, I have never had a single piano lesson, i'm just playing for my own making a lot of mistakes in other songs, but this one i'm somehow able to play, so if I can play it, everyone can do that :D Just feel the music, for me it was like free days to learn this piece (of course not perfect, but at least fluently and mostly correct). For other songs I need a few months and at the end it's still not even close :D So don't worry, just play, it's a great song and somehow not that difficult to play!
