This is amazing to see. I am the 2021 PA Waterfowl Management Stamp/Conservation Print artist. I painted a pair of Wood Ducks in a Sycamore, titled "Sycamore Retreat". Someday I wish I could tag along to see this in person!
Shot a wooduck today dug around doing some research. The wood duck drake I killed was from readings PA banded by Nate huck (in video) on sep 15 2022. Pretty cool to see where and who banded him!
Is there a protocol for which leg gets banded for the sex of the bird on both ducks & geese ? Or is it just with the bander how they hold the bird ? I see some geese banded on the right leg. Thanx, "MICHIGAN GOOSEMAN'.

Hi! I'll be starting a bird banding project soon. Where do you get that blue crate? Is that specially made for ducks?
