How could the developers miss the chance to make a crisis inspired on the great heathen army? The crisis should have the northern barbarians unite and pillage the different kingdoms.
I wrecked these guys 200days in with nimble double handgannone swift hands bros. With fearsome. Probably some of the best bros I've ever made. Large groups late game just get decimated by 3 of them. Preload your second handgonne and once they close distance you can just absolutely overwhelm them with shot early.with berserk just too much damage output potential and cc. I had 4 of these double hand gonne brothers best playthough I ever had. I ONLY loss finally because I forgot to buy food before a long trek into the wilderness. Lost all my bros. I now always get this firearms perk on my range bros with swift hands. Absolute beasts. Can double up crossbows too. This team also had a insane Frontline of high in fencing brothers with bucklers. Or flail for the murderer brothers. Two 2h on each flank. And a banner bro with 150 moral. That acted as a doctor. Pretty much every bro had fearsome. The more I play battle brothers the more I find high moral brothers are some of the best brothers regardless of what you are fighting.
I would like to build a compagny 100% Barbarians, is it possible ? Barbarians are pretty rare in civilized regions, but can we recruit more if we stay in the north ?
Maybe im too low level and do not have the right abilities but i cannot win a 1 v 1 fight with any chosen no matter what I do. Do I wait until later for 1 v 1 fight or forgoe them all together? Are there any rewards to fighting 1 v 1 as opposed to just fighting them all? Thanks...also, how do you guys make the most money? I know trading is good but how to trade properly? thanks again
I can offer my advice on trading and it's basically becoming an arms dealer with mercenary work (contracts) as side work. Loot relatively valuable weapons off of enemies, repair them, and sell to a bigger city that'll pay the best or relatively best price. An easy way of price checking is keeping a regular wooden round shield at full durability. Reason being is they have a value of 100 and you'll know the percentage of what the settlement is buying your items for
I only know of one way. One of the later ambitions is the cart ambition. It costs 7500 crowns and it increases your carry limit. There are probably some other ways but that one is all I have seen so far.
What, you expect something effective for you and not mass cheapness to make difficulty? You went for the wrong game. No. That's their "barbarian wrath" skill, which your barbarian will lose magically if you get them.

No. There's only a very few ways to get Barbarians - they aren't a background you can find at the recruiter.
