On my first attempt with the Pequod crew, Starbuck hit heads on all his coins with the skill that reuses coins and immediately obliterated faust which was so comical
Man i wish i read skin prophet's gimmick much earlier... i wouldnt have spent an hour brute forcing it and spending fluid sac... my dead ass was scared at the candles attacking but was only counters XD
just wondering how does one solo? Every times I’ve tried I die from being staggered one turn and then being obliterated the next. I probably need to read my teams passives.
G Gregor is a near must-have support passive. Otherwise Chef Ryoshu and chef Gregor combined can be good enough health maintenance. Then, you basically look at every other sinner's support passives, mainly the affinities required. Then, you decide which will serve you the best. Base sinners have a bunch of really good passives, like Hong Lu, Meursault, Heathcliff, etc. I personally recommend Mariachi Sinclair for every single battle, except the last in Canto 5. Oh, also, check if your solo identity can self-fuel an ego. If it can, corroding can literally be a strategy to keep yourself from being staggered and dealing damage.
It also helps to have good defensive skills - Dodge in particular, you've seen in this video dodges being used to negate like 5 attacks while you're waiting for the rest of your slots to fill up.
1) use shishmael 2) use a tank unit (preferrably one with good damage...and blunt.) 3) Aim to stagger him. Around the third stagger threshold is enough. Alternatively, use sloshmael, and Nclair.
@@SunshowerHeathcliffBeliever I fought them all before the nerf, the only one I fought post nerf was unfortunately ahab which I promptly beat on my first attempt
The only thing i noticed for the semi final boss is that they overall have less hp in total, Still a absolute pain to deal with, i cant say for the final boss because the nerf allready happend when i attempted to fight the boss@@ianheinzelmann6888

Average project moon fan (they can't read)
They do actually attack if they're not all lit at the same time, at least they did in my fight and only after being lit they changed to counters
This late into campaign… :(
All you had to do was tank the unopposed attacks until you lit all the candles, and the you fucked him up. Rince and repeat.

Very underwhelming fights imo, although they did take notes from miyazaki himself in making the hardest fight in the chapter a ganksquad
Did you fight them post-nerf, I wonder?
