at 7:23 when you fail to slam on Hypothermia, it would have been prudent to try to slam it two more times and risked annulling it. small odds, but since the next step was a fresh start, failure wouldn't have mattered

Watching you fumble a more-than decent attempt because of greed was funny as hell xD What I am seeing reddit though is that people will post their precious crafted item, to show it off or ask for help further crafting it, and then get told to vendor it or to just buy a better item, and it makes me mad! Could you perhaps make a video adressing that kind of behaviour?
A lot of work goes into special items and this isn't even all that special compared to some of the big mirror tier items! I actually haven't seen any of those posts or comments fortunately, although I've been using PoE Reddit less lately. Can you DM me some links on Discord? If it's coming from my little crafting subreddit that very few people use, I'll make sure to address that (I haven't been on there in ages either!)

Yeah it would've saved a decent amount but the amount of time it takes to back and forth and back and forth between hideout and menagerie would have made this craft take about 5x longer than it already did :(

i dont know exactly what the fossil cost this league, but since i crafetd 4 of those helmets in previous leagues i came to the conclution that using fossil combo is way more cost efficient, even if you can cry if u hit t2crit+t1hypo+wrong glyphic mod(essence) but on the other hand, stormbrand can use hysteria and horror essence bc they are always LL

I attempted a helmet similar to this for Absolution last league. It was abysmal and I gave up lol. Though I was using the 50% as extra Lightning essence.
I have had a blizzard crown with 2% spell crit, tier 1 hypo tier 3 conc effect and ofc 30% elem damage on the market for 2 weeks at 22 divines, no offers.

Wouldn't attempting to annul when you fill prefix's instead of scour be more cost effective? Give yourself more opportunities to save suffix cant be changed crafts? Edit: I guess technically you wanted to have mana on there to block so in reality it didn't matter.

Lol made this type of helm last league for my explosive trapper got double t1 suffix fast less then 100 essences (I think I reforged cold as a fuck it yolo to get hypo instead of adding on the crit). Then took over 160 div to meta craft on conq effect. Then with balls of steel I aisling it but got phys while focused and lost my balls when I thought about going for an annul plus another aisling. Really fun craft but without keep prefix it is a super annoying craft and if you can get a mirror early enough so worth servicing one long term.
It happens if you have the PoE font, Fontin, installed on your PC. I occasionally use it for thumbnails and am a bit lazy to add and remove it every time I need it. Very weird bug but I can live with it 🐛
If you did not try to elevate conc effect and settled with that and incr aoe, I would have instantly bought it for up to 300 divines for my coc ice nova

It seems you are thinking that viewers will be triggered by you taking chances, but isn't that the whole point of these videos? "safe" crafts where you stop on tier 3 and 2 mods are fine for teaching people how to build gear for themselves, but to me these crafting videos are all about throwing loads of currency at an item to make it as close to perfect as you reasonably can. If anything I'd get annoyed if you just stopped at tier 2! So keep at it!

Completely agree, I’d rather see u try to make a S+ tier item than stop at A tier. We still see the the needed “safe” steps of making the item so we are still actively learning the craft. It’s up to us as the viewers to choose where we stop with the item. Or could even include a “suggested budgets” in a pinned comment or even in the info of the video for those who can’t read between the lines and understand the possible costs of the crafts.

i tried similar craft for my sst and after 20 divs i settled for t2 hypo t2 crit. so i feel you

i've been trying to craft this exact helmet for my Hierophant for a while now. I have an i82 and still failed the spell crit craft multiple times...

No you don't. It just increases the tier of the other mod, so it can be used to make a T2 mod improve to T1
