I was honored to take a course from DBH in Grad school. A very kind and welcoming man, and absolutely hilarious, inasmuch as astoundingly brilliant. Among all of his insightful articulation he would crack jokes constantly in class. He's great.
Near Death Experiences..listened & read since 2006. Fascinating and undeniable about consciousness continuing without the brain. Objevtive Bob, sometimes I wish Hart would be more aggressive. He doesnt ever debate it seems, and I do understand that not very much is gained in debate, but I wish he would stop coming off as attacking other Christians who maybe disagree with his views. I enjoy him thoroughly, but he can come off as sort of a blow hard.
It's all theistic double-talk. He's blathering nonsense. The term "baffle them with bullshit" comes immediately to mind. He's just another theist struggling desperately to disparage disbelief. His whining is insipid. His posturing pretense to profundity is unearned. What a waste of time. Just another desperate theist apologist with the same old blather.
Your summary of DBH does not include any specific examples of sloppy reasoning or errors. Which books of his have you read? Which arguments of his do you wish to challenge? Why? Specifics, please.
