I haven’t seen red okra before, but man look at this beautiful platter it just looks so beautiful fresh and bright! Even the dipping sauce looks great too
It tastes the same as regular okra and when you cook it, it turns green . So once cooked you wouldn’t even know it was purple before!
We have them in Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean). It tastes the same as the green.
I think the reason these mukbangs are my favs are because they look great, love this type of food but also has every sound you could want…bliss
Today’s setup is out of this world. Salmon and octopus waterfall with such beautiful colours. All those colourful and healthy vegetables, flowers, everything looks so tasty and delicious even though I would never eat raw octopus or salmon. Sas is the only mukbanger I like for some reason. I love asmr in general but could never get into mukbang, unless it’s Sas. I can tell she loves food and she doesn’t look gross while eating or make gross eating sounds 🤣 idk if it’s the microphone, but the food just sounds delicious. She eats all kinds of things I myself wouldn’t, such as octopus tentacles or funky organ meats and insects. The only way I’ll have octopus is if it’s in takoyaki. The tentacles freak me out 😂 at the same time, I do enjoy learning about different foods and I have a habit of watching people eat things I wouldn’t just so I can get an idea of what it’s like.

I've tried cooked bitter melon with different spices and all that but I still don't like it lmao I can still taste the bitterness 😭 but hopefully one day I'll get used to the taste 😭
can someone tell me, is the elephant ear stem the same as taro stem? i saw some taro stem in my local vietnamese market a week ago and thought it looked similar but it was marked as “taro stem” and was also bigger. same spongey insides tho. i didnt buy it cause i wasnt sure on top of it being almost $5/lb 😅
After some Googling, it looks like they are either the same or very similar! They don't seem to actually be from the taro plant, but from the elephant ear plant or similar! Good eye, spotting the difference, and make sure you do your own research first, too! Maybe ask an employee? Have a great day!
