Q: What programs do you use to record/edit?
A: Dxtory for recording, using the lagarith lossless codec. Adobe Premiere for editing/rendering. OBS for streaming / any facecam footage.
Who needs mortar fire/support when you have Drewski on your team?

+ViaRecon Maps aren't as big lol. Also not zeroing so you need to aim with "0 meters". In ArmA is easy if you shot in the zeroing distance like in the video (400mts). Once you get the first well landed hit, aiming to specific zones needs little corrections. IMO at such distances the grenade launcher lack a bit of spread.

You should play on infantry only server for KoTH, there really isn't much lag since most vehicles are disabled other than vehicles for transport.

play on the hardcore servers,no 3rd person

Why not use the MX3GL? you end up with more nades to lob at peoples faces. Yeah it's not a 7.62 but the stopping power isnt that much different.

Hey Drewski, since you know so much about Arma, I was wondering if you knew anything about Arma resetting randomly. I used to be level 24 on Hostile Takeover servers, then my Arma randomly reset and I cant figure out how to get my levels back. You've helped me a few times in game that you probably wouldn't remember and now I hope you can help with this problem. Thanks.

Go to the hostile takeover and find the team speak there is two of them. Then find the right one. There should be something in the team speak where it says the day that they do the profile restores I'm pretty sure it's a Saturday but I'm not sure join the server and talk to the admin and he will restore your account I haven't restored mine yet (I was level 45) but I'll find time l8r
If you did a factory reset or selected a different account this is why the profile will reset
Or just deleted the profile folder

Why is everyone using the AK12?
Because it dominates. it is OP
In Arma, Damage is all about caliber. The AK-12 is a 7.62 assault rifle, with a 30 round magazine. no other weapon in arma compares to that.
+The Demonmit pretty sure it does less damage than say an M14 (7.62x39 is wayyy weaker than 7.62x51) and the like so I wouldn't say it's really OP. The magic is its 2rd burst :D

+Nam Minh AK-12 began production in 2012. In 2035 it wont be that old. The US military still uses the M16 platform which has been around since the 60's

Hey Drewski, I have an idea for a series that you may be interested in doing and maybe a few of your viewers may to. Maybe if you would like to do a series on KOTH like tips and tricks thats handy or maybe How To's. Im not exactly sure but if you think it may be worth a shot i think a lot of people would be interested.
KOTH is so bad with third person enabled. No one has any skill just wait around corners and walls peaking over with their omniscienct camera. The Hardcore servers in KOTH are much more fun.
My longest grenade launcher kill was 352m

To anyone having trouble with ArmA 3 crashing, make sure the launcher is closed while you play. That seemed to fix the crashing problems I was having.

So basically, grenade launchers are close range mortars with smaller splash?
Generally, yea. a mortar goes between 60mm and 120mm while a under-barreled grenade launcher used low velocity 40mm grenades. You can hit out to 400m with a m203 but it would just be better to use a mk. 19 instead.
a Grenade Launcher really is best used at 100 to 200 meters for area denial or destruction of material/light armored vehicles.
