1998 i was in prairie correctional facility with my boombox bumpin this song on cassette over & over shiid i was 5 years in already with 6 to go Young Bleed Motivated my spirit
In 1998 I was locked up in a correctional camp in British Columbia, there was only 2 rap cds in the entire camp this album and a Lost Boys album. I did 3 or 4 stints in seg over beefing dudes trying to jack this CD from me. When I got released I pretended I hid the cd in the camp and left a pile of hints on paper inside the cd case ;but gave it secretly to one of the solid long timers lol, he said for the 20 months he had left nobody knew he had it and it was a thing in camp to try and find the CD.
Well I made 61 years on this earth I'm really glad to see that a lot of viewers recognize young Bleed, I was in the military SBSW catching it all I'm glad I did right when it started, head banga shit understant it...
THIS ALBUM IS STILL SOME OF THE REALIST SHIT EVEEEEER!!!!! Now all we have is punk ass music.....damn shame. What happen to yall? YOUNG BLEED, MAC ,SLIM, MIA....
I come back every year. This time is because Tyrese was dissing off beat rappers like Silk used to be. Then I remembered that Young Bleed is still dope af and had to listen again.
2-25-19 this is my dads shit he ain't got much time left cancer got to his brain.. us kids keep playing his to keep him going so hopefully he keeps going
P was over a lot of heads talking that dope shit but if you was hustling back then for real values you felt him even if he was a mediocre rapper his lyrics and delivery captured you.
Never mediocre he just wasn’t a top tier talented rapper he was a hustler with a great business mind. This verse just shows you he was special. Original flow before the tupac influence came in
This Album came out when I was 22 years old, my grown kids who are now in their early 20's literally know all the lyrics to this whole album. I have always bumped this whole album in my car. this Album murdered master p, ice cream man. My kids love, better than the last time
Snoop said this is the hardest album No Limit has EVER put out and EVER will put out! Boosie said the samething in an interview. I'm still here in 2021, who else?
Ahhhhhh hell nah'... I been lookin for this song since I was bout' 20 yrs old. I am kn one right now!!! Feel like I'm 15 again - listening to this here... MEMORY FLSHBCK MONDAY!! For real doe!!! LOL... 96' - 97' This was hittin on some 15's comin n out the trunk of a Regal or Monte' Carlo, Cadillac, Cutlass whatever..... Simplier times! Yes, indeed.
Young Bleed's name was hot in the streets back in the day when he was on No Limit. Just imagine how big he woulda been if he was signed to a label like Def Jam backi n the day. He was New Orleans's version of Snoop Dogg.
Them Pen & Pixel covers used to have me even more hyped for a No Limit album... other labels as well but nothing could top No Limit...P & No Limit hardly ever seemed to sleep and my man Young Bleed was on the upper tier of No Limit with Fiend,Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, Big Ed...even though No Limit had too many average rappers i still couldnt help but love most of them but contrary to numerous opinions No Limit definitely had talented MC's as well, really C belongs up there too cuz even when his rhymes werent dope he still came hard af, Silkk before 98 was similar, this album though is no question in my top 10 of No Limit
My military days. Music from home held me down 💯was soooo proud of how the South was on a come up. From the 9thWARD to West Baton Rouge is where I’m from.
