Actually his story ending in The Shadowlands was done well. It was essentially Blizzard saying: You are and always will be apart of WoW, but you aren’t WoW. Very bold, considering how safe and terrible the lore is this expansion.

Bro kills so many humans and even before getting corrupted by frostmourne he goes against the king ( his father ) against the person the helped raise and train him ( uther ) destroys ships so people are stranded forcing them to fight and die for him then betrays the dwarf that helped him get to frostmourne. I'm sure deep down he wanted to save his people but none of his actions showed that. All hail the lich king, all hail the frozen throne!
Man, the story Warcraft III told about his fall from grace, from noble paladin and prince seeking to protect and save his people to the harbinger of death and destruction will always be one of the greatest ever told in any game. If there's a saying that perfectly encapsulates Arthas, then it's this: The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Warcraft 3 reforged really bumped up the details and graphics alot to help show from Paladin of light to Deathknight wielding frostmourne that he's no longer having any light inside him and he looked miserable
@@teej143 It's supposed to be Warhammer up to a certain point Gamesworkshop took their license back. And the Warhammer Figures look pretty cartoony themself. Makes sense WC3 and WoW is kind of based on the cartoonishnes of Warhammee Tabletop Figurines.

They could have had Kel'Thusad betray Zhoval, resurrect Arthas, and had the BEST expansion ever... but all we got was 35 anima. Imagine if instead of doing cosmic bullshit with pokopok the forgettable robot we were purging Lordaeron and Plaguelands (Which were invaded by mindless undead all the way down to Redridge... This is cannon... Did we just kind of forget that all happened?)

Did Arthas keep the same armor on during this entire arc and it just became corrupted on it's own via the power he wielded, and said power knew exactly how to turn his armor to look completely badass? Or did Arthas just started looting more edgy looking pieces of gear just to look the part by himself?
A prince so determined to save his people that he is willing to take upon a curse that would doom him for the sake of his people, but the very curse he thought would empower him to save his people would destroy them instead led by the very prince that sacrificed to save them noless.. one of the most well written dark story. should have given justice instead of an mmo where a group of nobody defeat the shit out of the fallen prince.
