Sweet strider, I've got to get my hands on one when I have some extra cash. Probably gonna be a while. Lol. Congratulations Scotch, that's a Billy badass strider. 👍🇺🇲💪💯💵💥ER 🤘
I like that more plain Ti Looks like it had a better texture than most of the others I have handled. Herman had a unique feel and sound. Great pick up man. Congrats 👍👍
I've got a Herman Dragonfly in m398 and a sting in Magnacut. I think Herman is the best bang for the buck. Anyway Herman makes awesome knives. I think if I bought another Herman it would probably be the slim. If you like the bigger Herman's definitely check out the Dragonfly. It's by far my favorite Herman.
@@ScotchNThings I am between a Herman or a Koenig for my next purchase, I have 4 Shirogorovs and love them! They honestly made me sell over half of my collection to buy more lol. Just not sure which I want next. I am trying to trade a few of my full TI hinderer knives for one of you know someone wanting to trade.
@@Ryanastenger1 that’s tough. I like the Arius but I’ve had 4 and it’s always an easy one to sell when I get board. I’ve only handled the one Herman. But a lot like shiro they are both done very good. Shoot me some pics on ig when you have time.
Beautiful knife, love the fine attention to detail and the acoustics of it.
Ya I had held out along time thinking it might be to similar to a shiro. But excellent knives in there own right

Thanks man. The dlc holds up pretty good when you drop it on concrete. How do I know. Well let’s just say the tip is kinda blunt now.

Will do. And I agree for what they cost is amazing for what you get.
M398 has better edge retention then m390 but is more brittle/prone to chipping during impacts. Nice vid!
Cool makes sense for knife like that. Not taking it to the construction site
Now you need a Dragonfly!!
Dang. That the model I almost traded for. After seeing that it came back. Man I think it can be a slippery slope with them. They are nice
I have an original full thickness dragonfly and I think you would love it. Its huge
For some odd reason shiro, holt and herman reminds me of each other
Ya I would say they are very similar. Very high end cnc knives
The action looks amazing, does the build quality rival the other top makers?
Ya I’d say he’s up there with the best of the cnc guys
@@ScotchNThings for me Direware and Grimsmo are the best build quality I've handled so far- strictly from a machining aspect
@@Damen0530 ya I’d say he’s pretty close to Grimsmo.
Hey man what’s your thoughts between the Herman and the Shirogorov? I have quite a few Shirogorov knives and am thinking about a Herman.
I like the Herman but would take a shiro over one.

@@ScotchNThings I just added you I ended up finding my IG hadn’t been on it in years!
@@Ryanastenger1 just saw that. Thanks
Is the Dragonfly for sale?
I never got it in the trade he changed his mind
