For the question in the description; I'd say my preference is chocolate chip (probably an obvious choice) but specifically when the cookie part is soft enough to easily chew through but solid enough to not fall into a million pieces and the choc chips need to be just slightly tougher than the cookie, that way you feel that satifying crunch as your teeth chew through the choc chips
