@@Hailystroempl95 mine is a combo of waves and curls. Lots of frizz. It's so annoying trying to find a middle ground product, but I think I have it down now. Maybe.
@@sarahmurphy3998 right out of the shower with very little drying first I put Not Your Mother's curl cream in with raking hands and then I scrunch and pulsate it in. Next I use LA looks gel with praying hands and scrunch that in. I'll use a T-shirt to get excess water out with gentle scrunching and then defuse. Scrunch out the crunch when it's 110% dry. I like the Not Your Mother's leave in conditioner from the same line and use it sometimes before styling. To refresh I just mist water over the whole thing and add a tiny bit of gel to the frizzier parts. When that's dry I'll scrunch it out.
Hair products don’t work specifically for a curl pattern. Other factors determine that. You can have fine, low density type 4 curls as well as coarse, high density waves. Things that make or break it are your porosity and thickness of strands-not the curl type
LUS has 3 different types of All-in-One creams to choose from: wavy, curly, or kinky-coily. The one you showed was for curly hair. You might have better luck with the wavy formulation. I use it and love it. Watch their video on how to properly apply it. Must be applied to wet hair, not damp. Love your videos, India! 🥰
It does do better on wet wet hair, but as a fellow fine wavy girl I agree with India's assessment, to get hold with Lus you need a gel. And the Wavy Lus styler is even lighter than the Curly one
Your reaction to the Dae hair mask was hilarious but also kind of scared me. 😂 I have a mini version of it that I haven't tried yet but I just had to go and smell it. I'm in Arizona so we get monsoon rain and it does not smell anything like this mask. To me it had a light perfume scent but definitely nothing to do with monsoon! 😂
you are so pretty and so is your hair!! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the work you put into making your videos! you are one of my favorite TH-camrs! & you are so inspiring and amazing!!🩷🩷
LOVE the smell of Love Your Curls but it’s too heavy for fine, thin hair but it works best when I use a volume mousse first then use Love Your Curls making sure your hair is still very wet.
Your hair is absolutely beautiful in the beginning. Let’s PLEASE start embracing frizz and big hair. It is beautiful, and we absolutely don’t need curl “perfection “ all the time at all. The bigness and frizz is stunning
i think part of the point is that the products she used did not take care of her hair well-she said her hair felt like straw. it shouldn’t look that crazy after you’ve just done all the hair care. maybe after a few days but not immediately
Jennifer Garner doesn’t have a hair care line, she is the spokesperson for Virtue which her hairstylist helped create. I do love their healing oil on the ends when I blowout my hair. Just got Just for The Summer, so excited to start reading, thanks ❤️
Aveda tends to bed protein heavy. Protein overload does cause strawy dryness. I stopped using protein based products due to that issue. I do a treatment once every 2/3 months usually just before I need a haircut.
The pattern custard was one of my go to products for a while. The fragrance is kinda strong and it only comes in the large jar so its a little tough if you end up not liking it
It's interesting because my hair looks very similar to yours and I really like the LUS styler. I use it when I don't want to style my hair and it helps my frizz level and adds some definition
The lus luv your curls works great for my liw porosity hair. Apply really wet hair. Can pair with their gel. Works great for my hair. Very hydrating. Not sticky
My curly hair is SO picky. Nothing from Dae has worked for me. Cute packaging, but my hair hates it. (Side note: the green tube with the sparkles? Yeah, my hair revolted haha) I was bummed Pattern didn’t work for me, too! Anything that’s protein building just dries my hair out, so no thank you to the olaplexes and virtues of the world. For the past three or four years, I’ve always gone back to the Drunk Elephant dark green shampoo and dark blue conditioner/hair mask (in addition to a Rx shampoo for dry scalp). And the Alterna Moisture CC cream as a leave in. I’m not picky when it comes to hair oils… my hair just soaks them right up! The Moroccan oils are good, the Kerestas is fine, the olaplex is fine🙃 The girlies with easy hair who can just use whatever products are available will never understand the curly girl inability to use whatever haha
My hair is very healthy but it is coarse and thick. Which actually kind of sucks because I can’t wear my hair like you do. My hair won’t “lift” like that because it’s too thick and heavy. I actually believe your curly hair is perfection. ❤️
OMG I completely agree about the DAE hair mask 😂😭 I can't with the smell. I bought it based on the great reviews and used it a few times but sadly don't think I can use it again 😔
I really appreciate that you showed a bad wash day hair. We need to normalise these things! Our hair cant always look perfect and every wash day isn't going to give the exact same! Also I love that cute little white poodle that popped her head. I love pets man!
Can you recommend me an affordable curly hair shampoo and codntjoner? I have very thin fine curls. It’s typically weighed down and prone to build up. I was looking at the bounce curl set but wasn’t sure
This is not related to this video but I found out on Wednesday that I have had a missed miscarriage. The pain unreal and sometimes doesn’t feel real. 😞🙏🏽 anyways, I know you’ve recently got through this and I was wondering if you could share about your experience with the D&C procedure. I have my procedure scheduled for next week and I’m absolutely terrified and just pray that everything comes out “naturally” before my surgery, so I don’t have to go through it 🙏🏽 Is the procedure scary? I’m afraid of it messing up my chances for future pregnancies 🤍 I’m freaking out
I'm so sorry for your loss. 😥 I've gone through this twice and both times I opted to wait for my body to take care of itself naturally. It happened for me between weeks 12-14. If you don't want to wait or your body is a long way past that and just not doing it on its own, the procedure is said to be safe. I'm someone who prefers to let nature run its course as much as possible but please keep reasonable common sense in mind with the timeline. Love and hugs during this tough time. Its very hard but it does get better with time.
@@derrickjenniferwatkins1394 I cannot thank you enough for your condolences and for sharing your personal experience with me. I am deeply sorry for your losses as well 🤍 Hearing how other women handle this situation is very helpful for me and I just truly appreciate your comment, thank you so much 💕
Thank you! ❤❤ Do you know of a great curl-define cream? I cut my hair to a pixie last yr & now while it is growing out there are hardly any curl pattern left! It just grows straight out for now like those toy Monchichi monkeys of the 80s. I'm wearing hats and half braids and hopefully it's just a phase. 🙏🏼
First time I’ve ever seen you. You are so cute and adorable and it seems we have similar hair in that I have like 2b-3a hair and it’s also medium to high porosity. It loves coconut and hates hates hates all Aveda products. I wanted so much to love them as everyone raved about them. I will try that one you said you liked. My hair may very well like it too. Thank you so much for sharing. I am now subscribed. ❤❤

The fine curls that are also wavy sometimes, but needs more than wavy hair and less than curly hair hair struggle is real.
Amen to this!! I find myself just straightening and curling it cause it’s so awkward at times not wavy but not curly
Most products too heavy or too light

Thank you so much for the candid feedback. Some of these products are expensive and choosing the wrong ones is painful!
Yep, $40 shampoo better be MAGICAL!!

Yes, wet hair, like wettt and yes curly wasn’t for India in my opinion. My friend who has hair like India’s also didn’t have the curly work for her

As a 2A girl I love pattern, so while it might not be one for India, I love the light hold gel. It is almost a gel/cream
I love the pattern cream, but the smell… it’s absolutely not for me , so for smell alone I can’t repurchase .

I have 4C and I agree about the Bread shampoo. It is like a cowash. The smell is definitely giving Fruit Loop
Just bought redkin acidic bonding for curls and mielle extra hold gel. Love them both!!

Hi india, you and your mom are so beautiful.
Hmmm. The title is misleading. These are products that just didn’t work for you. They aren’t products that people shouldn’t buy….
But she listed all her hair type/qualities at the beginning so if your hair can relate to her hair, this video is for you
Stops midway through, still waiting for products that are available in the UK aside from aveda. Love k18 and waiting to see if India likes it
thankfully I have not tried any of these lol and I had no idea jennifer gardner had a line of hair care products, wow
