Battles from film - State Border - (Dir. Boris Stepanov 1980)

The action begins in 1917, when the young Soviet Republic is just beginning to establish relations between different territories and creates the first border service. Newly minted employees receive the task from the management to ensure the establishment of strict control over all property imported and exported outside the state. These steps are taken in order to detain any suspicious individuals who are capable of depriving the USSR of valuable property in the form of historical treasures and museum exhibits.
It was very important at the initial stage to show an effective result, since the KGB did not tolerate mistakes and the border guards had to devote all their energy to work. The series reveals the true story of civil servants who truly loved their country and tried to do everything possible to justify the trust of the party

В этом фильме вижу много глупых смерьтей , ненужного проявления геройзма . Вместого того чтобы сохраняя жизнь и вести скрытые боевые действия принимают самоуюиственные решения , от того что подняли пограничный столб ничего не изменится глупая смерть.

The Russians inflicted more casualties on the Germans in the first three weeks of Barborossa than they had previously had from 1939-1941.
I don't think that the Germans did these slow walks towards defended positions, though. It was still a lightning war. Not bad, though, for a 1980 movie.
