When you mentioned the acid layer around her body and that she could run through solid objects I couldn't help but think of Shaggy from Scooby doo. I can just imagine Ashido making Mina shaped holes the walls and being very hilarious.

I know you barely even mentioned it but this seems like a good place to point out that both Mina and Denki may be the bottom of their class but they are also in the top school of the country, hero course or not they're probably pretty damn smart in reality. They're just surrounded by geniuses
They could have also gotten in on recommendations, like Momo and Todoroki though. Don't forget that option.

Ashido and Kaminari are not recommended students. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu are the only two recommended students in their class. Only four students are allowed for recommendations. Two for Class 1-A and two for Class 1-B.
As I watched this i read the most recent chapter and she used a move called acid man. Where she coated her whole body in acid.
What if she reach to the point that she could make a giant acid man 🦖

Mirio Togata no I think the bird is how it’s normally shaped, or at least that’s how it’s imagined because it’s a sentient being. But I think it can shape shift to create other things
When it goes out of control, it gets strong AF. If he can get the out of control version but under control, OP AF.

Spoilers for those who have not read the manga
Acid man, an ability in which Ashido coats herself in a thick layer of acid, being able to melt a robot's fist whilst it was punching with ease (And she wasn't not moving). She herself, is unaffected by acidman, neither are her cloths (unknown how long she can keep it up for)
However, I do believe in the future she could refine the ability, make it less bulky and more streamlined and smooth (Like acid armour), whilst retaining its corrosive properties. The armour itself would allow her to move more freely, attack more freely and have an impenetrable defense (Though, wind pressure is still an issue)
In short, a lot of potential
Dude wtf are you saying that's not how acid works and idk what you meant by wind pressure cuz wind moves large gusts and wave so that increases the area hence wind has very less pressure. If you meant air pressure that will just change the boiling and melting point of the acid

One thing I can see Mina doing is being able to manipulate pre-existing acid whether it be one she secreted or not, this could be done like water bending or just simple movements through thought like psychic water bending.

I dont know if you have read 256 yet, but she can now make essentially acid armor. Very cool.
I know it's not necessarily the case in anime, but it doesn't matter how "physically inclined" someone is if you take one square in the chin you're lucky if you stay on your feet.
Damn gascid is a crazy move idea. I also think super viscous acid for shields is great because it blocks and melts. And as you said she isn't the sharpest but to protect herself for that acid enhanced hand to hand combat she could coat her hands and arms in a thin, viscous, highly corrosive layer and then do a viscous uncorrosive layer underneath to protect herself

Newest chapter shows her new technique acid man. Based off kirishima's indestructible form, she wears armor made from acid and stepped on a robot and it was just gone.
I like that my hero takes the time to really flesh out and evolveall the characters characters and abilities. That was a huge critcism i have of Naruto. Once we get to shippuden a lot of the dope characters we met in the chunin exams didn't really get new development for their characters and abilities. Hoping it keeps up the quality

Kid otaku i know this sound crazy but what do u think of Acid rain? Like, Sero or ochako can use their quirk to make ashido go up and ashido can turn her acid in to little raindrops and easily melt down muiltple enemies (oof i got this from one of the scene in the manga)

It can be a armor like noelles in black clover. To the armor like a mutant in the x men has. Or it can be like a biju mode/ chakra mode or susanno from naruto. Or some other form.
And i say not, in which senario, she is using it.

a cool quirk evolution that Mina would have is that she can be able to manipulate the acid to weapons or objects like how Endeavor uses his Hellfire to create weapons

If she can coat her whole body in acid, can she just put specific body parts in acid? If so then she could coat her hands in acid and make her hands into gauntlets or something to boost her attacks and physical strength.
I love mina especially bcs she is not shying away to fool with the boys around. Every gender and person likes her and thats why i like her of that too!!!! Bcs she is my idol!!! I hope she gets more screentime in the future

Her quirk could very well mimic the glue quirk the other student had; though not as effective it could still have practical applications.

Ashido is my favorite character in the series. I'd actually argue against her not being that smart, it's not that. It's that she's too easy going sometimes and doesn't always get serious.
But that's part of what I like about her. She's serious about becoming a hero, but doesn't take HERSELF too seriously. Like Saitama, she's a hero for fun. Most of the time. But in a show that emphasizes being able to smile, she's far ahead of most characters.
The acid man was used! She can also coat specific limbs now too, so like can punch with an acid arm and acid leg by coating a single one everytime she attacks

She could coat something plastic with her acid. Certain plastics can endure acids. A plastic sword or bo maybe. Also, she could coat her fingertips with her strongest acid. Fingertips grow back as long as they aren't damaged too low on the finger.

Imagine her hero suit is lined with armor and smaller hoses that would shoot her acid where ever she wants and seeing as how she can use her quirk from anywhere she can use them to shoot acid everywhere or cover her back , and she can control out put so they could be used go take all the acid from that part of the body and maximize it since it's a bigger surface area it should produce more acid ex. Using her whole are to make acid instead of just her palms .

Have you ever seen Magellan from One Piece? I want to see Ashido make her own version of _Hell’s Judgement._ For those who don’t know, imagine Ashido making a fifty foot acid demon which Ashido can control that is both impervious to standard attacks, melts anything it touches and can corner large numbers of villains.

My my fanfiction after a fight with mustard that end with mustard being horrifically disfigured and mina inhaling his poison fog she starts painfully developing certain abilities like gills and wings along with other abilities like night vision and uroborus control (used when she momo and others on a girls night get attacked by wesker)

Ive got an idea on how she can use the sticky part of her acid what if she could throw out a line of sticky acid like a sticky hand basiclly swing around like sero also while im at it could also mean she can coat her hands and feet in it as well and climb walls this would effectively make her the most spiderman like character in the series

One thing she could do, but would likely have a hard time with mentally is to use the chemical composition of her acid to make things like knockout gas or other riot control gasses. Grab a vial of otherwise harmless chemicals, coat it in acid and throw. Acid eats the vial and then the things mix to basically give the girl nonlethal grenades. Furthermore if she can control the type of acid then she may be able to develop a version that is completely harmless to skin but eats through synthetic materials, metals and stone. This would let her use her acid with complete impunity and disarm anyone of any weapon with ease.
Unfortunately all of these need basically a degree in chemistry to even try so I don't see her actually pulling this off.
Acid constructs. Low acidity but high stickiness and hardening. Imagine her athletic ability paired with a bat made of acid that won't hurt organic life too much with burns but will eat away at defenses
She Is Perfect Against The Acid Breath
Not just gas, but a semi sold form, creating acidic whips, her special move having the same name. Broadening her combat skills while still being a range attacker. As for being inspired by bubble girl, she can created an acid filled ultra thin bubble like membrane that can be used as land mines, but to be on the safe side this could be used in a Combo attack with ( I forget her name) the vibrations created by the girl with the earphone jack quirk.

I think her Ultimate move should be acid rain, she shoots an very powerful acid shot in the air straight up, and around her, it'll start raining acid, making it tough for those who get near her

I’m inclined to believe that being a heteromorphic type and having a Mutant Quirk type are 2 different things. Mutations (what is label heteromorphic types for convenience) inherently gain a physical appearance from their parents, and while some mutations may have a slight passive advantage, it could never reach the potential of a mutant quirk, which grants the passive advantages + a potential to augment ones inherent traits to an inhuman capacity, whilst mutations can only reach a slight superhuman advantage.
To me, at least, a Mutant quirk has exponential potential for augmentation whilst heteromorphic types only have slight passive advantages than the a average human, but heteromorphic types can come with transformation/emitter quirks like Tokoyami.

I like the character Mina! Her appearance and bubbly personality remind me of Starfire from the Teen Titans. Her quirk got me interested in the science of acids and their different pH levels. I wondered if Mina could ever secrete an acid so corrosive, like say Floroantimonic acid, that it could permanently harm ever her?
