I used to do the exact same thing till about an year ago, well off the wagon due to a lot of things. Thanks for reminding me to be intentional and mindful each second of the day.
Great video! I currently write in a notebook each evening planning my tasks for the next day but am yet to start timeblocking. I can see how useful it is, because even though I have a list of tasks to complete, when I haven't set aside a specific time to do each one, they can get pushed back further and further into the day until they become unachievable. Inspiring stuff my friend! Looking forward to the next one...
This video turned up on my feed..... very very good! Simple honesty, no techno BS... I am in my 60's embraced tech etc you are so spot on. New Subscriber. Keep it true James!
Do you have a Goodreads profile? If not, it could be a good way to have a public bookshelf because you seem to have found a lot of your ideas through your reading. I'd definitely appreciate it.
Hi,how do you do your plan for a day,how can you arrange times I am asking because when I trying to arrange the time 24 hour is not enough for me.Do you make your list for a day before a day or months?
Hey James, idk if you remember me but I commented last time on how even tho I plan my I nvr seem to stick to you gave some really helpful tips I used it for a couple days and then I fell back into viscous cycle of just procrastinating but now I understand how to time block properly because of this in dept guide tysm. also, I have a problem with starting I nvr can seem to start studying even if I have my exams the next day, I keep postponing the task and when I do start I can focuz for 30 mins I take a break and nvr come back. any suggestions? what pen do you use btw
@@jallmo I go to KCL and im currently in the library during my lunch break so ill pop by to my closest one hahah. I did your timeblocking method on a notebook from tesco but it was those sturdy ones which I didnt like because it was so rigid. Also watched your Anki video too. Keep up the content

Thanks for posting this video. I learned a lot from it. I have many of the same issues myself. I use Roam Research as my knowledge management tool.

Not sure why he mentioned dyslexia, strategies will help you gain focus yes but these strategies won’t remove the presence of dyslexia.
Yes dyslexia can't be removed but it makes focusing harder due to the extra mental effort needed for reading and processing, which can cause fatigue.
