Vick not only did everything I already mentioned, but he also took part in executing the dogs that showed no talent for fighting. Even though he was making millions he wouldn't even spend a few pennies on a bullet. The dogs were either drowned by holding their head in a bucket of water or hung. He didn't properly hang them and break their necks, so many of them were hanging by their necks while their hind legs were still touching the ground. Dogs that were so unfortunate not to be rendered dead by these methods were then picked up by two legs and slammed into the ground until they died. One of the bodies they found had been an attempted execution where they even took time to shave parts of the dog's body. When it didn't die from being electrocuted Vick and one of his partners each grabbed 2 legs and slammed the dog into the ground over and over again. Vick started with dogs that were not from a proven fighting line of pitbulls, so the dogs he bred were not aggressive nor were they big. Because of that most of the dogs he bred did not take to fighting and were killed. He was only charged with the death of 8 dogs because the investigators only found one grave on his huge property, and they found that because the guy who told them about the dog fighting had been present when the dogs were killed and buried. There 6 years worth of graves out there that Vick didn't serve time for. He should have been put under the prison.

I realize he's done the time for the crime, but not enough time in my eyes. Do I think he'll hurt the dog, most likely not, but for what he did to the innocent dogs is unforgivable, he did it for fun, obviously not the money, he was already rich. He should never be allowed to have a dog. PERIOD!

He also said his kids suffer due to his actions, so the court allowed him a small dog for his children. Sorry, I say if he wants a dog for the children, a rescue should take a pitbull for his kids to play with, that way it gets taken at night, the kids see what great dogs they are, and daddy won't be loved so much anymore. He refused to allow a pitbull or pit type in his house.
Rumor has it that he not only owners a dog, but is breeding dogs again. He threw his family pets into the pit with fighting dogs and told reporters he enjoyed watching the dogs tearing his pet apart.
